the cpu would be no problem, the original ds 3615xs came with 4GB but might work with less look if you can set sata to ahci in bios, if its ahci then a recent 6.1/6.2 install seems possible safe would be to try 5.2 or 6.0 (6.0 still has all the sata/pata drivers the 6.1/6.2 is lacking)

der konnektor am lüfter hat meist metallteile die in den plastikstecker einrasten, nei der herstellung wird der kabelshuh an das kabel gelötet und in den stecker geschoben, eine oder zwei metallzungen rasten ein und sichern davor das das ding wieder rausrutscht also rückwärts, kabelschuh aus dem stecker (kleiner schraubendreher oder nadel) und an anderer stelle wieder in den stecker, ein einfacher lüfter hat nur 2 pole 12V und masse, wenn man die masse leitung des lüfters statt an masse an 5V anklemmt "sieht " der lüfter nur die differenz zwischen der "neuen masse" und 12V, das die neuen masse nicht wirklich masse ist stört den lüfter nicht, der motor ist komplett in plastik und kommt mit der echten masse nie in kontakt alternativ kann man auch die kabel auftrennen und passend zusemmenlöten die methode hat aber so gar nichts mit VDE und professionellem e-techniker zu tun klingt nach overkill, ist aber eine sichere lösung die ohne basteln oder lötkolben auskommt wenn du sonst nicht bastelst (kein lötkolben im haus?) dann nimm lieber das

i already have driver packages 3615/17 for 6.2.2 the new extra/extra2 for 918+ contains new modules for vmware and the 3615/17 will also have the normal set of drivers after finding the problem with the 3617 drivers and having a fresh install working i'm now testing the migration's from 6.1.x and 6.2.0 i dont want people to end up with semi-bricks and the need to downgrade

die einfachste metheode ist den lüfter statt "masse - 12v" über "5V - 12V" anzuschließen, macht 7V mit der der lüfter dann läuft, solange er damit sauber anläuft ist alles ok, man muss nur am stecker des lüfters ein wenig "rumspielen"

If you use B120i in AHCI mode, iLo is unable to read HD max. If you switch in the BIOS to raid mode - everything will be OK. That is the reason of so called "fan speed issue" with MS Gen 8. why do you think 918+ has support for 7590? there seems to be a "db" /var.defaults/lib/portforward/routerdb/FritzBox but in 918+ there is only 7170, 7270v3, 7390 if compared with the 3615 image, it looks the same but if there would be a newer version it looks like it could be as simple as copying the content of /var.defaults/lib/portforward/ just extract the pat file synology offers for downloading and extract the files in question edit: i had a closer look and /var.defaults/lib/portforward/router_upnp.db.default contains inforamtion about 7590 (9018+ AND 3615 - both taken from latest 6.2.2 pat file)) [AVM Berlin/FRITZ!Box 7590/avm] support="yes" max="100" support_change_port="yes"

there are no drivers in the package, its just x64 application code denverton seems to use the same kernel as 918+ (4.4.59) denvertons are: 1618+, 1819+, 2419+, dva3219, rs820+, rs820rp+, rs2418+, rs2418rp+, rs2818rp+ as it seems to be for dva3219 that one should at least contain the nvidia drivers (binary) in the DSM_DVA3219_24922.pat in /usr/lib/modules/ nvidia-modeset.ko nvidia-uvm.ko nvidia.ko so as long as you dont have this files for 918+ the spk package will be of no use edit: the nvidia files are also in the 1618+ so they might be in all denverton version version numer in nvidia.ko is 381.22, its as old as the kernel synology used (~5/2017)

did you you waited the until the repair was complete (there is a percent counter) before a reboot or shutdown? in storage manager under disks section is a tab "log", did you check if anything useful is in there?
