Hi! Sorry, I'm a ProxMox noob... How can I upload the .lzo backup file on my ProxMox server? If I go to Proxmox local disk, I can upload only .ISO or .IMG files...

Hi to everyone! Today I should install XPEnology (baremetal) on an HP Microserver Gen10. Which bootloader/DSM should I use? It will only be a storage server (no virtualization, no video encoding/decoding). Thanks for your support

How to sync folders of two XPenology NAS?
maxime replied to maxime's topic in Packages & DSM Features
Thank you! The problem was very very stupid: simply a type mistake! I typed 6630 instead of 6690 in the router's port forwarding page! Thank you Dfds for this link, it could be very useful! -
Hi to everyone. I'm trying to remote sync two folders of two Xpenology NAS (both last 6.1.4 DSM). I understand that I have to install Cloud Station Server on the first Nas and Cloud Station ShareSync on the other Nas; on both nas I enabled the Rsync service (on port 22) and authorized the rsync service on a user (pippo). Pippo is an admin user and he has got r/w permitions on all folders. On "server Nas" I selected which folders to share On both Nas I forwarded these ports: 22 and 873 for external access. The problem is that when open Cloud Station ShareSync and I try to make a connection to the "server NAS", using Public IP of "server Nas" user: pippo password: pippo's password This error is shown: ERROR on connection. Check your Lan settings and retry I don't understand where is the problem... Do I have to forward others port? Anyone can help me? Thank you for your support!

Hi to everyone. Since I upgraded DSM from 5.2 to 6.1.3 (update 6), changing themes doesn't works: when I apply the new theme, it is applyed only to the access (login) page, not to all the web interface. How can I fix it? Thanks to everybody

Every PC has a GPU; some PC have integrated GPU, others PC have discreet GPU. GPU have instructions for hardware transcode; if Plex doesn't recognise supported GPU, transcode is done by CPU, emulating via software GPU instructions.

Transcode is always made. The difference is from SOFTWARE transcode (made by CPU) and HARDWARE transcode (made by GPU). I would to test if my Plex server made software or hardware transcode
