  1. Hi, This is done for AX88179 in DSM 4.2 x64: http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=928#p4431 not the sil3114 but yeah, thanks

    Golden Builds

Take my configuration from my signature. It works really well (Not working: just PPPTP VPN, APC USB UPS, CUSTOM RAID ADDAPTER) with 4.2 3202 - http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=555 (haven't tried the repack version DS3612xs_3202-Repack) CASE:Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced MB:Gigabyte E-350N CPU:Zacate RAM:GeIL 16GB (maximum overkill. it was cheap) FAN:Noctua NF-S12B FLX PSU:Seasonic S12II-430 HDD:2xWD30EFRX & 2xST3000DM001 RAID ADDAPTER: 4 PORT SiI3114 USB3.0 Gigabit LAN:AX88179 37dBi@55W Cost: ~980USD/~760EUR
  3. i have a small issue. When entering insmod: /lib/modules/usbnet.ko i get: insmod: can't insert '/lib/modules/usbnet.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter I presume the usbnet.ko is not right for my: Linux nas 3.2.30 #3202 SMP Fri Mar 1 01:03:15 CST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux synology_bromolow_3612xs ? Any suggestions or sharing the right usbnet.ko for me? Thanks!
  4. Hi, We need the sources to create the .pat and bin files. The sources are not yet published to GPL. There is no way or no official way to convert the original .pat file to what we need. Cheers!
  5. Well guys, Thanks for posting this, although the sources are not reliable or "legal", we appreciate that you shared this with us. Anyhow, i am trying to manually upgrade my DS3612xs_4.2-3202_x64 to this (DS3612xs_4.2-3211_x64) and i get Unknown error occurs (Error No:21). Am I doing something wrong? Should i do something with the pat file before using it for the manual upgrade process? Thanks again for your help!
  6. Hi mate, I didn't get the message, and i think your English needs to be "polished" a bit in order to make others understand what you want. Sorry
  7. That folder doesn't look loke a database mate. You deleted a folder. If you don't have any knowledge of databases, try to install webmin on your DSM and try to drop/delete the database from that nice web gui. We wish you the best luck!
  8. Hi elitef, This is not a hacking forum. We don't host or accept illegal stuff around, so please don't put more questions like this. Thank you
  9. Hi frank_zero, Please do try the search function from this forum or google search it. Good luck ~ Vic
  10. Hi Albebert, Please do try the search function from this forum or google search for proxmox site:xpenology.com
  11. Did anyone mentioned that this forum is not for illegal stuff? Please buy the addon for surveilance camera. You can find on Amazon or eBay one for 40$ or 3 for 130$
  12. Hi mate, There is a big probability that the build 4.2 3202 or 4.2 3202 repack will work perfectly on your configuration but please do have in mind that for 4x3TB of my own, i never use more than 10% out of my 16GB of RAM and as an average, my CPU is 50% loaded at a 50MB/s transfer or 11MB/s torrent download. And i have an AMD E350N Zacate at 1,6. What you have there, will consume a lot of power. Multiply "a lot of power" with ~8700h/year and you will have a nice addon to your existing electricity invoice.
  13. Hmmm... Interesting. I thought the sources are on the project's sf page but aren't. The same thing happens with 3202
  14. C'mon guys, Therr are builds with 3202. We also want that source. Thanks!
  15. Hi Panja, My suggestion is to use the 3202 or 3202-repack as everybody found these builds very stable. I personally have a 3202 in production . I can do the waiting part as well, but the thing is that Synology published the gpl sources just for x86 on build 3211 and nobody knows when they will publish what we need and want. If you want, you can test the 3211 for x86. There is a nice thread started by a passionate fellow but try to understand the x86 limitations. ~ Vic PS: my system never consumed more than 2GB.
  16. where do you have that file and what do you want it "modified" ?
  17. Activate ssh, and give us the output of uname -a Seems like driver issues
  18. "the beast" i was referring is the system with one of the two mentioned CPU
  19. My nas's wattage can be seen in my signature. I never measured it in idle, standby, etc. I was too lazy. By the way, why would you need a beast like yours to hold some TBs as a nas?
  20. For DSM 4.2 3202 3 gigs is overkill. My system never used more than 4% from a total of 16GB
  21. That's because you are using the x86 (32bit) DSM and not the x86_64 (64bit) DSM i am for example using.
