Marvx Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1356 Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Hi i would like to ask if anybody have to deal with Realtek Gigabit network card with this redpill tinycore loader. The NIC after boot is not working at all. I read that with JUNs loader it should work and there is driver build in but i cant find any on this build for DSM 7.0.1 MB: Gigabyte GA-H55M-D2H NIC: Realtek RTL8111D/8111E chip (10/100/1000 Mbit) Thanks Edited March 6, 2022 by Marvx

aportnov Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1358 Posted March 6, 2022 When will 3622 be made available to everyone? What is now in it is incorrectly determined by the mac address, but I heard that it has already been fixed.
paro12 Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1359 Posted March 6, 2022 I haven't made any progress, but thanks to all for the help so far. I did find it odd/interesting that after getting stuck in a loop on the 3622xs+ loader where it would just say "not installed" every time i went through the process and the machine rebooted, I went back to fiddle around with a 3617xs build and found this on boot... I tried setting up firewall rules to keep the diskstation from communicating to the outside world during the 3617 build, which others have said helped them get past the install stopping at 55%, but that didn't work for me either. Andy Miller Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1360 Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Hi there. I am attempting to upgrade my Juns loader to red pill on a poweredge T320 On my first attempt apart from filling in the mac address serial etc i left the config file default. I have 6 onboard sata ports with 3 and 4 populated with SSD's and an 8 port sata HBA. Running sataportmap shows HBA 00:1f.2 Disks : 6 can anyone advise me on how these need to be configured?? i would ideally like the 8 disks on the HBA to be disks 1-8 and the SSD's to be 9 and 10 Unfortunately i cant make the SSD's be ports 1 and 2 on the mainboard as they are standard sata ports for optical disk drives etc, 3-6 are on a mini-sas cable. Thanks. Edited March 6, 2022 by Andy Miller
Andy Miller Posted March 6, 2022 Share #1361 Posted March 6, 2022 An Update. I disabled the onboard sata controller completely and now a satamap now fails to detect any disks in legacy and uefi. I followed a previous post to load in megaraid extensions but still fails to detect disks

If so leave satamap and diskid at default. 58 and 0A00
Andy Miller Posted March 7, 2022 Share #1363 Posted March 7, 2022 (edited) I have an lsi 9205-8i not a h310. my sata map gets auto populated by 6. That’s all. painkiller895 Posted March 7, 2022 Share #1367 Posted March 7, 2022 (edited) On a Dell R410 TinyCore Has no ethernet connection, I believe it uses the bnx and bnx2 drivers. After adding a intel nic I was able to do a ping out to the network. Can you guys check this or verify. I remember IG-88 helping me with this at one time...
