rootz159 Posted February 15, 2022 Share #904 Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Hi, I am able to boot OS, but I'm currently stuck at Installing DSM ("Failed to install DSM" at 55%) using .pat file that has been generated during build. In the synoupdate.log I can see below error. I've tried multiple build versions and models (DS918+ and DS3615xs). Did somebody encountered same issue and was able to fix it? I'm running it as VM on pve node (VM config is below as well). Orphée Posted February 15, 2022 Share #905 Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Running as VM on HP Gen8 ESXi : Well played @pocopico I did not try to fix/edit the disk DB file yet : Please do the same with DVA3221 Edit : added the following text in front of the first char of /var/lib/disk-compatibility/ds3622xs+_host_v7.db {"model":"VMware Virtual SATA Hard Drive","firmware”:”0001”,”rec_intvl”:[1]}, And It seems the VM is stuck when you try to shutdown DSM (must kill force VM shutdown) Edited February 15, 2022 by Orphée 1

flyride Posted February 16, 2022 Share #907 Posted February 16, 2022 Not to nit but the rploader definition for the broadwell NK platform is "broadwellink" and Syno refers it to "broadwellnk" (without the "i") Obviously it's coded to pick up the correct platform but it should probably be fixed to avoid confusion and future error. Amrit86 Posted February 16, 2022 Share #915 Posted February 16, 2022 Hi all I’ve upgraded to 7.0.1 using the RedPill Tinycore loader and it’s all working fine. It installed 7.0.1-42218 but I’ve seem some people here have Update 2 which fixes some security vulns. The Tinycore loader didn’t give this as an option, can I upgrade from the Synology website or have I missed something?
