  1. I’d say that documentation on how to do it is one thing but I’d think that linking to official “forum” sources for materials related to building the loader is the route to go - offering prepackaged images should be avoided.
  2. Would there be any any to accurately identify port map information prior to loader creation? Maybe a utility or process for this would assist in easing support questions.
  3. No you’re right, the forum is definitely informative, I was following along up until build docker .10 then life happened haha Yeah I think that if there were a gui or some kind of menu to select drivers and add them to the config file automatically it would be great, manually adding the extensions url to the config xml can get dicey, but you’re probably right about not hitting prime time until after the beta. im also sure that once it gets closer to that stage documentation will be more consolidated in a more digestible way too.
  4. Seeing all this… @ThorGroup I can’t help but hope that an easy to use GUI interface for the build process might be in the cards for the beta… the driver thing while good seems like it can get complicated. Looking at it right now I get a bit overwhelmed haha
  5. Could be kernel related to the flavor of Linux that is required for the specific containers that you guys are running
  6. +1 for this issue, 3615xs should have native sas2 support at the very least, while the driver shows up with lsmod, disks are not available in the UI. Can also confirm that it did work out of the box with Jun's loader previously with 3615xs and 3617xs.
  7. @ThorGroup I will gladly donate an LSI sas2 HBA if necessary. Feel free to PM me here or on chat.
  8. @thorgroup pardon me for being nosy but have there been any updates? I honestly do like following along with development with your forum posts.
  9. @ThorGroup it’s true that virtualization has come a long way but for those that have server hardware dedicated for an xpenology setup like myself prefer baremetal, I thought that you guys said before that, support for that was in the cards, has that changed? thanks!

Is there an open donation collection for jun to help to contribute to his development efforts?
