Try supported model:

https://github.com/pocopico/rp-ext/blob/main/hpsa/rpext-index.json

And read the error messages during the build.

rp-ext working, if you use supported model and dsm version.

The module they are trying above is for DSM 7.2.
7.2 uses kernel version 4.4.302+.
7.1 uses kernel version 4.4.180+.
The link you shared is for 7.1 and is not kernel version compatible.
The module for 7.2 was recompiled by pocopico in response to kernel version 4.4.302+, but the reason for not working seems to be elsewhere.

I don't have a problem with it. It doesn't work for him. No discs found. I don't understand why he it forcing dsm7.2.

Hello!

I'm trying to build a bootloader, but always get error:

Checking if a newer version exists on the main repo -> Version is current
fatal: repository 'null' does not exist
fatal: repository 'null' does not exist
...

./rploader.sh: line 2964: cd: /home/tc/redpill-load: No such file or directory
...

Failed to download PAT file //mnt/sda3/auxfiles/dva1622_64561.pat from

What I'm doing wrong?

UPD

Dont't know why, but the problem only occurs if I update bootloader in comand line. Without updating everything works fine

I should come back here before posting there ... Redpill broken this week ? - General Installation Questions/Discussions (non-hardware specific) - XPEnology Community

Glad I am not the only one ...

I saw a lot of activities on the repo , today the same 4.7 version has been uploaded multiple time , yesterday it was branded 4.7 bur filename was still 4.6

I've tried with 0.9.4.5 without update.sh but I got same issues , I bet I need to retry using 0.9.4.0 without update , what is killing me is it works two days ago but not yesterday and it's failing still today with 4.5

Try 0.9.4.7 webbuilder supersecret feature which is located at tcrp IP address.

It works for me without errors

I don't understand what you mean with "0.9.4.7 webbuilder supersecret feature which is located at tcrp IP address."

I've  justed the newly 0.9.4.8 as well as 0.9.4.4 without any update and for both I get the below whereas it did work flawlessly two days ago on executing the EXACT same commands

"Looking for redpill for : ds3622xsp_42962
Module does not contain platorm information for ds3622xsp_42962"

I am lost

EDIT : I think the developer is in panic mode or so .. (joke of course) , I just see a new 0.9.4.8 released 5 min ago

EDIT 2 : still same ... please does anyone can explain what's going on ?

There is no more errors on the output like earlier today and yesterday but it's still impossible to build a loader :(

I don't know what I can do to help , sorry

Hello,

I've changed my hardware and i'm now on an I5 10400 (6c/12t) and on 0.9.4.8 with the ds3622xs i got no Network after booting the bootloader.
When i use DS918+, it works but i don't got the /dev/dri (i got it on my other NAS with i5 6400 on 918+).

I can't create a cluster on virtual machine manager neither on my new Nas.

Any help / tips ?

I have a vm on proxmox.

Works fine with 7.1 and an old tcrp.

After updating dsm doesn't find my nic (although tcrp-friend does) and no disks are found.

Well i'm testing ds3617xs on 7.2 and if i still got some bugs or if i don't have all the CPU Cores, i'll try the ds3622xs+ on 7.1.

Yes i have the same experience with 0.9.4.8, it seems that the virtio Drivers are not loaded.

With 0.9.4.6 all is working fine. I have updatet some Days ago.

Second this. I could not get command line to build for anything (various errors depending on what setting I was changing to attempt to troubleshoot, but NO successful build). Switched to editing the user_config.json via command line but then switching to the new web interface to run the build. Successful build everytime. If I get spare time to go through my logs I'll of file a proper bug report on pocopico's github, but until then, if you're having problems, try the web interface to run any builds.

Hello,

when you say go through web interface, you mean there is like arpl a web access on TCRP ? If so can you provide the url with the port please ?

0.9.4.6 didn't work either.

I created a new vm and on that one it didn't detect the disks either. After changing the scsi to sata they were detected.

Is scsi no longer supported?

SATA gives me errors about unsupported disks...

What config do I need to use for drives (on a vm on Proxmox) to have them discovered and not giving errors?

I think there is no network module for hyper-v network card. Can you pass an lspci -nnq ?

Thanks in advance for a great work

TinyCore RedPill Loader (TCRP)

I am also trying to run this on hyper-v (Windows 11) by creating a "tinycore-redpill-uefi.v0.9.4.8.vhdx" file from "tinycore-redpill-uefi.v0.9.4.8.iso"

For my case, Windows 11 hyper-v does not boot from the tinycrore iso image.

Since installation media is not usb, the command "sudo ./rploader.sh identifyusb" does not work.

After building with "sudo ./rploader.sh build ds3615xs-7.1.0-42661", the system does not work. I think Grub has been lost.

Before building - Running from hyper-v ; booted from a disk (not a usb)

after building - ssh connection is lost:

We cannot compile the required hyper-v modules, you can try VMware player or VirtualBox for free options
