  1. Thanks I see what I did wrong. Everything is working great. I appreciate it!!
  2. Ah!! I see what I did wrong or didn't do. I should have slowed down and added the withfriend option after running bringfriend command. So just for my sanity sake, flash drive, boot into tcrp, run full upgrade, run a build, but don't reboot, run bringfriend, should be able to answer yes to everything, and then build again with the with the "withfriend" option ex ./rploader.sh build ds3622xsp-7.1.1-42962 withfriend I just ran the build and it was successful. Bout to boot into it and will let you know the result. Update: After actually doing it right, it worked. Thanks
  3. Are you able to update and then add TCRP friend before even building the platform you want? Or should we build a platform first and then add? Update: I tried doing the TCRP Friend, and Im pretty sure I did something wrong, however I did a fresh flash, fullupgrade, built the pat, and then ran bringfriend and then rebooted. It failed to boot through the TCRP Friend. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  4. Hey guys. Is tcrp still the preferred loader or should swith to arpl or friend? Thanks in advance.
  5. Yeah, Im still on U1 I guess I need to do that update to U2 first.
  6. Is it possible to update to U3 without going to TCRP Friend version? Thanks.
  7. So snd_hda_intel is the .ko for my AMD GPU. With the kernel for synology being different than the common linux kernel, how would I compile and make it compatible for synology kernel?
  8. No worries, thanks for responding. And Surveillance Station uses your AMD CPU for transcoding as well?
  9. I need to know this as well. Im wondering if it would work as cpu and gpu for Surveillance Station or maybe Frigate NVR.
  10. Is it possible to install driver to your xpenology nas without it being installed or integrated into the kernel? And if so how?
  11. I wasn't sure, I really need to get those drivers installed so I can use the GPU for Frigate https://archlinux.org/packages/?name=libva-mesa-driver
  12. I wasn't totally sure on it. I really need to get the LIBVA VA-API driver added so I can use my gpu with Frigate properly.
  13. What is the latest kernel version being used for redpill?
  14. Requesting GPU module to be added. https://github.com/intel/libva/blob/master/README.md AMD 6450 for support with Portainer/Frigate docker
  15. Will this thread be updated for the current changes? I keep hearing about a friend option and not sure what or why I would use it. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  16. Can someone tell me the difference of the regular tinycore install and the "Friend" install option? Thanks Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  17. Was it possible that your cmos battery is going dead? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the info, I'll be taking a look at it later. It would be better to have Nvidia. However I'm also limited since I would be installing it into a Dell PE T320. The Dell AMD 6350 is compatible and the Nvidia Quadro 4000 and 6000 series. Also noticed that Fridate only uses the NVDEC instead of NVENC. I have to make sure the Q series will even work for it. Update: Looks like they have M6000 and P6000. I need to see if that will even work. If you know for certain of any others that might work let me know Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  19. Requesting driver libva-mesa-driver 22.1.7-1 to be added This is for the Dell AMD HD 6350, to be used with Frigate NVR (docker) Thanks
  20. Just wanted to post this here. I was able to search and came up with a list of gpus that is support (not all so expensive) Here is the results of my search https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units It gives a full list and lets you know if its nvenc enabled. I was looking at gpus and they seem like they would be too big for my PE t320, so since Im using Frigate NVR again, the alternative is to use any AMD HD 2000 or newer. I was able to choose the following (hoping this will be helpful with anyone else using dell server) Dell AMD HD 6350 https://www.newegg.com/dell-hd-6350/p/1FT-0001-00025 (Confirmed works for the T320, @ https://www.dell.com/community/PowerEdge-Hardware-General/T320-video-card-upgrade/td-p/4404427/page/2 )
  21. I think you just answered my question. And I didn't mean to write "can't". Any Nvidia gpu with Nvenc. I'll keep this mind. I haven't switch to the other platforms yet as I'm doing research to see what is best for me. Thanks for the response. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  22. I think your right. Dang it. I wonder would ot be possible for the VM to pick it up? Or does it have to be picked up by the host system first? HOA just upgraded to kernel 5.15 Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  23. Requesting to add the following linux driver for Bluetooth 5.0 usb dongle https://linuxreviews.org/Realtek_RTL8761B Understanding that Synology doesn't have a interface or gui for bluetooth. I have Home Assistant installed via virtual manager. HOA now allows for BLE devices to be attached.
