When it boots (going through the linux stuff) you need to go to a browser on the network and type in find.synology.com which it should take you through the setup. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

This is more of a question that request. I don't know if you use HOA (Home Assistant), but the latest update has added bluetooth functionality. Is there driver already in the ext for bluetooth devices? Thanks. At some point I will be making the request if not already there, I just havent had the time to get a usb bluetooth dongle -

Hey guys, I see that some of the other versions like this DVA use gtx 1050 for the detection and face recognition. Is it possible to use th3 nivdia 1030 instead? Cost effectiveness is what Im looking at. Thanks!! -

Question for anyone, Im still on U1, everything is working fine. I dont remember seeing a security update requirement on U2 or U3. Do I really need to update? I mean if its not broke don't fix it right? Im running a few docker images, vm in synology, and plex....thats it.

I had posted the same results earlier. I was able to boot into 7.1 and install the website download and didn't use cache. I say don't change anything and just tell everyone to download from the site. The only thing I had to do was ssh in and enable shr feature

I have the t320 on 7.1. if your using SAS card (h310,h200, etc) one make sure the card is flashed to IT Mode, in user_config.json get rid of satamap and diskid and add "SasIdxMap": "0". If you are using the embedded Satas controller (6 Sata) then you need to us satamap and diskid: Satamap 6 and Diskid 00 and keep SasIdxMap. Hope this helps. Edit @MSXGames Sorry I miss read your post. But I do have a question, did you use the cache pat file to install 7.1? I had to download it from the Synology website and install it as I kept getting the corrupted Fe when I would try and install. I had to go in and enable the shr settings but that was it.

So I went through the process and downloaded 7.1 from the site and installed it. Im now setting up the NAS!!! The decrypted file for me didnt work. With the official file from the global I had to go into etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf and add support_syno_hybrid_raid="yes" and change supportraidgroup to "no" and reboot.

@Peter Suh I followed the steps and commands. I still get he 45% and then corrupted file. Im going to try and change my user_config.json and report back later. I can't do it right now, but if someone could check that maybe getting the same error, check for errors while pat is trying to install? It would help out. Thanks in advance.

if these are embedded sata controllers then I would try switching to 4 for satamap and 00 for diskid. If you plan on using both in the future then I would do 64 for sata and then 0007 for the diskid. Try that and see what ya get.
