- Additional comments: Reboot needed after update.  When I first updated from DSM 6.1.7-15284, I needed to delete .xpenoboot from the root directory of my NAS.

- Additional comments: Due to my expected failure (the post just above), I made a "HotFix", by adding an external NIC, and booted up OK. BTW: you might need to edit the MAC in grub.cfg after adding a NIC..

- Additional comments: Upgrade kept all bonds in place (after 'migrate' install, which was through another temporary DHCP IP until the install completed - then it changed itself back to my static IPs). Internal NIC works fine..
