    Hi, My processor (i3-10100) is dead... Need to buy another one... My guess is 11400 or 11600. Can you confirm that is 0x4C8A or 0x4C8B will be compatible (918+ or 920+) ?     Works fine for 920+. Just a strange behavior: at boot, the screen appear black (normal when you load i915 driver). But when I launch an HW transcoding, there is a special wallpaper lol, like in my photo

    Found solution. Please make a 6.7u2 compatibility VM in order to work, and don't fogot like me that the new 7.1 build is 661 and not 621. So make a new bsp etc... Works fine now

    VMware ESXi didn't work for me. The only worked version installed for me is 7.0.1-42218 (918+ but whatever version), and I didn't remember how I did... The only think I know/see is that it's mandatory to have 2 network interfaces to get 1 working (5 for 3622xs+). Current working version (7.0.1) has 2 network insterface and it work. BIOS mode and that's it... 1 vmdk (convert with v2v converter) in SATA 0:0 and 1 disk of DATA (4To thin provisioning) in SATA 0:1. Cannot reproduce a working VM with same configuration with current redpill-loader, 7.0.1 or 7.1. Try many platform, not working. No visible error at boot (serial console). First boot and install are ok. But said that the system is in repair state after first reboot. @pocopicoI'm wondering if the kernel has not change, because the RC version has disapear, but have the same build number. Do you think I have to regenerate the BSP ? Regenerating now, and compare the 2 files... I will let you know EDIT : same binary... And just for information, I'm on ESXi 7.0u2. @pocopicoCannot boot with your vmdk tinycore, it said that it's an incorrect format. The only way to get a working version is to convert the img to vmdk (v2v converter)

    Works with 2 network interface lol, very strange... Same issue with 3622xs+, add 5 interface to get the 5th working. In addition, when installation is finished, it reboot an then ask to recover. For all plateforme in 7.1 RC

    Have a little problem, no DHCP at boot. Cannot found the root cause lol. My network seems to be fine, and dhcp work into tinycore. Tried VMXNET3 or e1000e, same result

    Hello @pocopico. Have a little question that’s make me crazy… have installed with tiny core a 7.0.1 DS918+ with mpt3sas (H330 it mode). It cannot detect any disk (8x8To). It works with 3615xs. Cannot understand why, but I really need 918+ for HW acceleration… cannot have access to serial (bare metal). With a disk already installed plug in sata, it just said : not installed but detect the data disk. Without the HBA card, it works fine … thx

    Just read lol. I create a script to unpack the pat file. You cannot unpack it with tar command directly because it's encrypted. The method to bypass it is to use an older pat file, like in the script. Thx to @dogodefi

    I send everything to @pocopico, he just need to update his script . I'm not un expert in dev, I know the shell, but my implementation and indentation is really bad. IN short: I have to put my cleaner code back lol

    Yeah I know that. That's not my question. With an Intel i3-10100 for exemple, you can HW transcode with the iGPU (Intel HD630). My question is : With Redpill 7.0.1-42218 based on ds918+, it works fine, with a modded i915.ko My question : is it working with redpill 7.0.1-42218 based on ds3622xs for exemple (which is not supported on a real 3622xs) with the same modded i915.ko module

    @Orphée Just for my knowledge, do you think we can use the i915 driver on a redpill emulated synology without iGPU to get the HW transcoding? like a DS3622xs+, with a little insmod i915?

    Yeah, but the version of beta package is so old... You need to download the SPK from Plex website to have the latest version (not beta)

    I can confirm that AI analytics works with a P2000... Didn't have any other graphic card to test, but P2000 works flawlessly...

    Package, docker not tested right know. Is there a big difference? Didn't see any difference with iGPU (i915). the only difference is the auto update with docker and watchtower lol

    Hi ! Installed with a quadro P2000, works like a charm. Tried Plex HW transcoding too, works fine.
