Да. Когда первый диск воткнёте в xpenology, создайте на нём пул SHR. После переноса данных со второго диска удалите на нём все разделы (не всегда это требуется, но хуже не будет), подключите его к xpenology и добавьте в тот же пул, он в фоновом режиме превратит его в защищённый от сбоев RAID - может несколько дней длиться, но пользоваться сервером в это время можно.

6MBit like 1000 times less? thats like not working at all i have my main with 7.1.1 and backup system with 7.2.1, the later one does 250 MByte/s with a bunch of older disks and hyperbackup rsync (not tested wit iperf) so from the 7.1.1 to 7.2.1 is no problem the main 7.1.1 from a win11 system makes 1G Byte/s as long as it fills up ram and then drops to 650MB/s, cant ask for more (good nvme ssd on win11 and 20GB single file) just tested it for 7.2.1 from win11 and its the same as with 7.1.1, 1GByte/s as long as its ram and then ~600MByte/s (no iperf neede here if it looks that good already) (win11 and 7.1 is a sfp+ mellanox and 7.2 a rj-45 Tehuti TN9210 based (might be similar to you syno card) there are some base differences even with systems having the same dsm version, 3615 is kernel 3.10 but 3617 and 3622 are both 4.4 so looks no like its not related to that as 3615 and 3617/22 seem to perform both badly but anyway try arc loader arc-c (sa6400) with 7.2.1 that's kernel 5.x and might be different any switch involved there might be differences when connecting directly or through a switch as of how speed is negotiated what speed does the system show (ethtool eth0 | grep Speed) when its only 6Mbit/s its interesting but if you want to save time consider just keep it with 7.1, as its a LTS version and afair will get the same support as 7.2, if there are no features you need from 7.2 you dont miss anything when just using 7.1

Обновить до последнего биос, загрузить defaut настройки и попробовать еще. У меня, были похожие глюки когда я пытался влепить левые настройки в биосе. А по дефолту все ок. Особенно то что касается видео и виртуализации. Если биос новый, просто сбросте перемычкой CMOS.

Да..... Все эти соответствия не совсем корректны и совсем не обязательно под процессор AMD ставить версию DS для AMD . Версии с Intel прекрасно работают на AMD. Все соответствия моделей Сино и Хрени, притянуты за уши. Если не брать в расчёт специальные версии (Трансскодинг и ИИ), то для вас, это всего лишь отображение количества дисков. Исходите из количества дисков и от этого отталкивайтесь. У меня AMD и я очень долго сидел на версии Интела )))

Только к некоторым сервисам на самом NAS. Для остальной локалки нужен VPN или ставить виртуалку на DSM, а с нее уже заходить на локалку.

У вас должен быть выпущен сервер в интернет. - какой роутер? (вендор) - какой тип подключения в тырнет? pppoe, l2tp, без инкапсуляции или какой то вариант ddns. результатом должен стать проброс портов с роутера на внешний сетевой интерфейс Synology Drive Server - 6690 TCP https://bafista.ru/kak-na-keenetic-probrosit-porty-dlya-synology/ как пример. в результате нужно будет на клиенте настроить 2 подключения - 1 работать в офисе, второе в любом другом месте. аналогично и на телефоне - на каждый сервис у меня 2 подключения.

Для начала возьмите свежую версию Arc Loader (23.9.1b - это уже более полугода назад)

Из бесплатных, с хорошей поддержкой, фаерволов нового поколения обратите внимание на Sophos FW home. Потребуется мини ПК (или старый ПК) с двумя, лучше тремя сетевыми картами, 2-4 ядра проц, до 6ГБ памяти и небольшой диск (лучше SSD). Настройки Level7 фильтрации просто выбираются из меню и можно создавать свои. Есть много информации по настройкам, но в основном на англ. PFSense/OPNSense с добавочными модулями тоже неплохо, но требуют намного больше знаний и усилий. А я использовал ваш ответ как пример важности бэкапа. В каждой шутке есть доля .... шутки!

Кстати, в этой программе тоже есть платная версия - Donation Edition (файл лицензии + активатор имеются на просторах инета) Разница небольшая, но как по мне...... Посмотрите в сторону VPN. Абсолютной безопасности не бывает, а если использовать сторонние сервисы, которые вы не контролируете, то и подавно. Минимальное кол-во открытых/проброшенных портов и хорошие, часто меняемые пароли помогут, но все равно есть риски.

Hello, yes if the motherboard has 2 slots for RAM, then 3GB is also great. I was under the assumption that only RackStations had this. With my RS812+ it was just a matter of finding the right combination of memory module manufacturers. 2x original Synology didn't work. And yes, with #35 it is very easy to change the model in 10 minutes, including a restart and without screwdriver.

Agreed, this is possibly the biggest stumbling block here - not everyone has a drawer full of ancient old sticks. The vast majority of mine have already been written to death or given away as uselessly small years ago and their modern replacements - even the cheap giveaway ones - do not have controllers recognised by chip genius. I got lucky that my nearly 10 years old Memtest stick was suitable. It's a 4Gb Lexar Jumpdrive Firefly. The Phison based 2Gb Toshiba SLC DOM I purchased was not. I'm hoping to do all the experimentations on the USB drive so if I kill it or corrupt the image or whatever, I can just put the Synology DOM back in and we're back up and running. Ideally I can find a programmable DOM because all-internal is neater but a USB stick will do for the R&D.

Damn, are we totally reliant on old USB sticks at this point? How long do we expect them to last in this situation? Might there be something to finding a suitable DOM that can be PID/VID modded and using those? Or simply get everything working with an old USB before DD imaging it back to the stock DOM? I have managed to turn up an pretty old Lexar Jumpdrive Firefly that's reported as having a SMI controller and I think I've managed to persuade the SMI tool to modify it. It's very late here so I'm calling it a night, but I presume the next steps would be to flash the DD image to the USB and then remove the stock DOM and see if my 1812+ will boot from the new drive.

You can use of of the loaders such as TCRP, ARPL or Peter Suh's M-Shell that is based on TCRP: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/61839-tinycore-redpill-loader-build-support-tool-m-shell/ is the one I use. They all now allow you to build within a web interface that makes the process pretty simple with support for many newer models. The DS3615xs has lost support since it is one of the oldest models, so the DS3622xs+ would be a great upgrade for you. But if you do not have 12 disks in your system, for cosmetic reasons only, you can choose one of the models that hold 2.4 disks. The steps I would use is, get a new thumb drive and a spare hard drive that you can test builds with. Download the PAT file for the model you want to use, you will need it later. Remove you data disks from the system and put them in a safe place until the build is done. I would keep the disks in order for simplicity. Build say the DS920+ and see how you like it. If you are satisfied, power down the system, remove the test disk and install your data disks. Once booted, you will get a prompt to migrate. At this point you will get a prompt to re-install the OS. Choose manual and select the file you downloaded. Enjoy your new NAS.

А почему не посмотреть в сторону решений именно для бэкапа? Например, тот же Active Backup For Business? (для ПК он, правда, только целиком том копирует, но это не страшно - разместите всё, что нужно бэкапить, на отдельном диске...). Там есть запуск по событиям "Выход" и "Экран заблокирован". Ну и куча других есть бэкапных пакетов - возможно, там что-то ещё более подходящее найдётся.

We actually do these many times for model changes, and DSM downgrades. But not from serial port. Only from eDOM(Disk on Module), or eFlash Drive. That little daughter board that sits on your motherboard if you have a PLUS unit. And you have to change 3 things on the eDOM and your done. Both for DSM downgrades and model changes. The eDOM is really just a USB Thumb Drive. Yep. You can connect it to any pc just like a Thumb drive. It has 10 pins on it. And Synology only uses 4 pins on it. The rest are for support. To keep it in the socket. The 4 pins Synology uses is just like a USB Thumb drive. +, -, Read, Write. That's it. Now just copy that Boot OS from the drive. Change a few letters. Done. What's nice is they sell these little 10pin eDOMs on eBay for like $5. So you can have a few for your system. One on DSM 7.2.1. Another on DSM 6.2.4. Or even another on DSM 5 if you want. The Linux way is very tough. Let alone one mistake and you can hose the system if no backup is available. With eDOM as long as you have a copy. And mistakes, and your back to normal again. Now this is just my opinion. So here's the real question. Why would anyone want DSM 7.2.1? What do you gain over DSM 7.1? Or even DSM 6.2.4? Nothing. What do you lose? Alot! I mean alot! In fact Synology trolls areas to get people to update from what I see. One of the big reasons Synology issues DSM's is to get rid of stuff it hates paying for. MONEY is what talks in the NAS business. That's it. All they care for. So you lose tons, Photo Station. Hard Drive Compatibility is now worse in SDM 7.x.x. Wifi Dongle is gone. Surveillance Station drops many camera licensing. And more. The list is pretty big to name a few. A whole lot more. The best DSM they ever made was 5.2. Maybe DSM 6.2.4. And the NAS carries a higher value on DSM 6.2.4 on resale over any other NAS. Nobody in serious NAS apps use wants them. As a Synology Service Center. Its all we get requested. DSM 6.2.4 or earlier. Especially on a NAS that can be updated to DSM 7.2.1. Nobody wants a NAS on DSM 7.x.x. WHY? They have apps that only work on the older DSM's. And they don't like the limitations in the new DSM's. If you read the Synology release 2 years ago they mentioned why the new DSM7 series was set out. Over 6.2.4. A little riff raff about useless bug fixes as a joke. Making you think your NAS will crash. But that wasn't it. Mainly they didn't want to buy into more costly licensing for their apps. Mainly Surveillance Station was costly for them. Photo Station too. They have to pay for that stuff per license. If you think its security bugs. That's a ploy. Synology doesn't have any bugs. And nobody is going around trying to hack NAS's. Let alone serious NAS owners are behind some pretty good firewalls. And the security of DSM 6.2.4 was for the 99.9% of us enough. We don't need anything else. I also get asked about the updates here at the lab. I recommend all of my customers to please do not update to DSM7.x.x. Any version of it. Unless you know it has something you really need. And I can tell you. 99.9% of the NAS users out there don't have what DSM7 has that you need so bad. We just have so many issues with it from a service side, let alone all the stuff you lose with the apps. Why would anyone do that? Believe me when I say what I say. I'm the only Synology Service Center in the USA. There is another in Germany. My partner. And we see countless NAS's daily. On all kinds of DSM's, Linux Home brews, people trying to fix NAS's with 100ohm temp fixes. You name it. Today alone was 4 units in. One from Google even. RACKS and Desktops. When I say don't update. I mean it. You just set yourself up to lose so much. And in some models, this updates modify's the bios. Not all. But on some. What this means if you make a mistake, or decide you want Photostation back, you hate the new "PHOTOS" app. You can't go back no matter how much you try with coding. Because the bios is not in the coding. The coding side your on is the Boot OS side. Synology is getting trickier, and know. They are putting permanent markers in the bios coding. And once in awhile I get a NAS that is hose from coding, trying to go back to DSM 6. Only the people who have bios files like us can save those. That's an added risk you take. I think Xpenology has the best idea you can take. That too I am building cause I love it. But if you do this coding on a NAS. I wouldn't. If its coding for your Xpenology project. Say a DS1515+ to DS1517+. Perfect!

Ситуация следующая. Промудохался в поисках решения, результата ноль. Непонятные логины и дубли оставались в системе. Сброс системы на начальные, помог исправить ситуацию. Выводы следующие. На данных винтах производилась не однократная миграция с системы на систему, а так же восстановление настроек онлайн из бэкапов от других систем. Выводы: Не восстанавливать настройки из резервных копий, если вы к примеру перешли с DS918+ на DS920+, при миграции будьте готовы к тому, что все настройки системы придётся делать с нуля. Всем бобра!

Всё, на сегодня проблема решена полностью - VPN и правки hosts не нужны вовсе. Цитата с одного дружественного сайта: No need for VPN to bypass the block anymore. Simply use AdGuard public DNS: 94.140.14.140, 94.140.14.141, or Quad9 public DNS: 9.9.9.9, 149.112.112.112 Всё, что нужно настроить для нормальной работы плагина - настроить сервер DNS вручную (у казать 1-2 ip-адреса из четырёх, перечисленных выше), например:
