I have a laptop Lenovo T61 with one disk in it and that runs DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 On this nas runs sabnzb and sickrage and many more. Now I install on an other computer ESXi in ESXi I run DSM 6.1.7-15284. My question is how can I copy everything from the T61 to the ESXi ????? I mean the complete configuration like sabnzb and sickrage etc etc an 1:1 copy.. so that every will be run the as on the T61 but than on the ESXi server.

@Toti I have also an DELL Optiplex 790 and I want to install DS3615xs I make an usb stick with Jun's Mod V1.02b and I can see the computer in Synology Assistant, it starts with installation after a view steps it says it will reboot the system but than it stays in a reboot loop. You see back the Jun's Mod V1.02b but after first reboot, system keeps restarting after 15 to 20 seconds., and again and again, the installation will not start. I installed the latest BIOS A22 for the DELL Optiplex 790 but also no success.

Tutorial - Install DSM 6.1.5 on ESXi 6.5
michel30 replied to Digital's topic in Tutorials and Guides
Hello all, I Hope someone can help me with a new set up to move from my laptop to an ESXi server without loosing data. My set up at this moment. I have a Lenovo laptop t61 with the USB boot Jun’s Mod V1.02b and build in 2TB laptop harddisk. I want to move an ESXi server on a computer what is the best way? Boot ESXi from an USB stick? And follow the steps on the first page? But how do I add the 2TB disk? to keep the data? Can I also use USB disks on the synology NAS "esxi" ? or is the best way to leave esxi and just do it the same what I had before plugin USB boot Jun’s Mod V1.02b and build in 2TB disk in the new computer...? -
