These are my 2.5GB NIC transfer speed test results.
Synology DS3622xs+ used 80G INTEL SATA 6Gbp/s SSD instead of HDD.

redpill tool chain

All modules related to 10G NIC, whether ARPL or chain tool, started from pocopico, which developed TCRP.

If the same nic module is applied and there is a difference, it may be due to the characteristics of the kernel loading the module.

Once you try TCRP, if you have any problems, please contact us through an issue.

Hi, sorry to jump in here randomly. I’m quite noob at this but have been trying to follow the guide from page 1.

I have a Thecus N5550 which from older tutorials I’ve seen utilise DS3615xs

I feel I’ve done all the steps as above, the ones that don’t work for me are firstly from step 6 I receive the message

“Error : Platform not found rploader.sh”

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8101/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8125/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8152/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8168/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8169/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/igp/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/e1000/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/e1000e/rpext-index.json

tc@box:~$ ./rploader.sh ext broadwellnk-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/mpt3sas/rpext-index.json

and then from step 8

[DS3615xs]

./rploader.sh update now
./rploader.sh fullupgrade now

./rploader.sh serialgen DS3615xs

./rploader.sh identifyusb now

./rploader.sh satamap now

./rploader.sh build bromolow-7.0.1-42218

./rploader.sh clean now

./rploader.sh build bromolow-7.1.0-42661

./rploader.sh clean now; rm -rf /mnt/sdb3/auxfiles; rm -rf /home/tc/custom-module;

./rploader.sh backup now;

</quote>

I guess after running all steps except these that failed, I get presented with the boot menu and boot into “RedPill DS3615xs 7.1.1-42962 (USB, Verbose)”, however it gets stuck at the message:

Loading Linux…

Loading initramfs…

Starting kernel with USB boot

_

im pretty lost right now I feel so close yet so far.

The front page guide I wrote for this topic is too old.
Even if I want to edit it, it is blocked by the administrator and I cannot edit it.
This is the policy of this site.

That's why some users still follow the old way of building loaders using commands.

None of the current XPENOLOGY loaders use the command method.
Both menu method and WEBUI are adopted.

Since it is difficult to renew the existing guide,

there is a request to update it with a new guide, but it seems meaningless unless the existing guide is deleted.

First of all, please refer to the guide on my M SHELL for TCRP github page.
Build the loader menu-driven.
Modules are added automatically, so you don't have to add them one by one.

thank you, and I hope I did not come off ungrateful in anyway just a little confused :)

I will take a look at those links, I had pulled your latest IMG file but was not aware of the automation scripts.

When you say M SHELL for TCRP a lot of this is going over my head so i will do my best not to have to ask you many questions lol

Hi @Peter Suh

I just want to know is it all ok to update to the last DSM with the latest loader of yours -with friend enabled ?

So going from DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5 -> DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1

Are there any major issues or things to note.

Thanks

M-SHELL is already well compliant with DSM 7.2-64570 U1.
recommended way
Coming back to the TCRP loader build menu, the first step is to build a loader for DSM 7.2-64570.
You will be asked to reinstall DSM for 7.2.
Proceed with the installation as requested.
There are no special precautions.

Thanks so you have to rebuild the loader ?

Is there no way an Wiki can get setup with all the latest steps on builds etc... as the main page is still out of date.

Thanks again

Just today, I mentioned a guide renewal because of that problem.
There is no way to do this unless the administrator allows it.

Yes, that's right.

And, I just sent a letter to the moderators.
I inquired about how to renew the tutorial.

ok...finally found that TCRP and your TCRP are diff lol.

Got it installed and booted i see the device on my network through my unifi gateway and hasnt dropped off like it did with the manual versions. However I cannot load into the DSM through its URL or URL+port5000.

Here is a screenshot of what the NAS shows, note i have 2GB RAM, would this be my issue now? Or do you see something else out of the ord?

Can you ping the IP address 10.0.0.28?
What does URL mean?
Did you try http://10.0.0.28:5000 ?
Are the LEDs on both of your dual NICs blinking?
