  1. У кого ни будь получается скачать? extra.lzma for ds3615 v4.8 http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=91524959186499470323 extra.lzma for ds3615 v4.9_test - new Aquantia driver (atlantic.ko) v2.0.10.0, positive feedback to work with Asus XG-C100C http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=15978611613403584302 extra.lzma for ds3617 v4.8 http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=82063388171933855891 может выложите на другой домен?
  2. Hello! I've followed as many tutorials I can find, but I cannot get this working Tried unraid, and while everything worked right away, I would greatly prefer XPEnology/Synology. I'm using the following: Ryzen 3400g Asrock X570M pro4 (according to specs page: Giga PHY Intel® I211AT) Asus XG-C100C 10gb NIC LSI 9211-8I chipset with 8x10tb I have Tried Jun's loader 1.04b for DS918+ and loader 1.03b for DS3617xs and DS3615xs. The official Synology files end with _23739. Added the VID, PID for my usb drive. Using rear USB ports as well as an internal header for clean look. SN from a certain place (for each of the 3 models above) MAC for the onboard NIC as well as the 10gb (would prefer this one). It loads the initial choose install method and prompts me to go to find.synology.com, but the server is never found. It does not show up as getting an IP in router either. Both NIC's confirmed working in Windows and unraid on the same hardware. Upon searching for several hours I feel like I am going in a loop. There is apparently an "extra.lzma" file I can add to the 2nd partition of USB pre-install for it to recognize either of my NIC's? I have tried several found with no luck on either Intel or Asus NIC. There are multiple versions found in the following threads: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/21663-driver-extension-jun-103b104b-for-dsm622-for-3615xs-3617xs-918/ https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/28321-driver-extension-jun-103b104b-for-dsm623-for-918-3615xs-3617xs/ https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/13797-tutorial-installing-918-62x-dsm-on-104b-loader-transcoding/ Additional bonus would be having the iGPU transcoding working, otherwise I will have to swap to a 2.5gb NIC and put an NVidia GPU in, which I think I can figure out how to get working. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm lost at this point. Searching for my specific board on here and general google show people using it, but zero info on how they got it working. Edit: even a go to (specific place), get (file/version), replace (thing), you're good to go is fine. I'm getting quite familiar with modifying these files. Just seems like there are too many different places for partial answers. Thank you!
  3. afair there where people with Asus XG-C100C https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/31751-dsm-623-25426-update-2/?do=findComment&comment=156123 https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/28321-driver-extension-jun-103b104b-for-dsm623-for-918-3615xs-3617xs/?do=findComment&comment=151119 and also on 1.02b with dsm 6.1 https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/9508-driver-extension-jun-102bdsm61x-for-3615xs-3617xs-916/?do=findComment&comment=81686 as asus is still offering driver 2.0.15 on its website it might be possible to assume that there is no newer hardware for at least two years that would need a newer driver
  4. Unfortunately I only managed to get it to boot on the 918+ image with loader 1.04b, including the extras from "extra918plus_v0.13.3", but sadly to 10gbe Mobo is an Asrock X570M pro4 (Intel I211AT). No option to disable the UEFI boot on this board, so my options are limited... though I'm open to replacing it if absolutely necessary. I've tried the 916, 3615 and 3617, they never get an IP, even with default or additional extra's replaced. Used the exact same VID/PID/MAC's as the 918 (Intel primary, Asus secondary, or even just the Asus by itself). I guess the only options are to replace the mobo, buy an actual Synology 10gbe for double the price of the Asus XG-C100C, or an Intel for 4x the price? Unless there's something real dumb I'm missing with the other images / extra files? Otherwise I have everything working the way I'd like on the 918+. but transferring 40tb over 1gbe is going to suck.
  5. Hello, The only loader and version I could get working on my hardware is the 1.04b (DS918+) with 6.2.3 Asrock x570m, Ryzen 3400g. So far so good after a few days of troubleshooting. However I am planning on using an Asus XG-C100C (based on Aquantia AQC-100?) I see there are extra.lzma for the DS3615, 3617 and DS916+ found at https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/9508-driver-extension-jun-102bdsm61x-for-3615xs-3617xs-916/ Were these drivers included in "extra918plus_v0.13.3"? Because I can't get the card to detect. My config is set as follows : set mac1=7 (snip) 9 (Asus) set mac2=2 (snip) 3 (Intel from mobo) set netif_num=2 (I assume this tells it to look for 2 NIC's? Otherwise I'm not sure what's missing.) aside from VID/PID/SN the rest is all default. Thanks!
  6. Thanks! I managed to get it to boot with the DS918 loader and the extras from "extra918plus_v0.13.3". For some reason or another 916 and 3615/3617 do not like it even with what I think are the correct extra files. My best guess is because the board doesn't allow disabling UEFI boot according to the boot methods listed here: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/13333-tutorialreference-6x-loaders-and-platforms/ Waiting for it to build the volume now! 😃 My last issue is getting the Asus XG-C100C 10gb NIC to work. I have the Asus added as mac1 and the intel as mac2 in the config file and set the number of interfaces to 2, but it's still not detected. Only driver packs I found are for the 3 models that don't work of course lol. Going to do some more searching and hoping set mac1=7(snip)9 set mac2=2(snip)3 set netif_num=2
  7. I'm running an ASUS mobo with an AMD PHENOM II 4 core, 16GB RAM, 8 HDDs. XPEnology runs pretty great! Ended up with a DS-3615xs running 6.1.6-15266 Turned on SHR because the drives are all different sized repurposed HDDs. All that is awesome, however, I still have a couple of issues. 1. dmesg shows this pretty early in the bootup. DSM shows 4GB RAM, 12GB is "reserved" WARNING: BIOS bug: CPU MTRRs don't cover all of memory, losing 12799MB of RAM. 2. My 2nd nic is a xg-c100c. 9. someone ask about the Asus XG-C100C a few posts before and that uses the same chip (just a different phy, yours is sfp+), yes it should work
  10. Hi, I don't have the skills for compile driver...... linux 64b driver (https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/XG-C100C/DR_XG-C100C_v5016.zip) I use 918+ for hardware video enc/dec (plex server). i will tried when i recive the card (in 2-3 hours) Atlantic-2.0.15.0.tar.gz
  11. This adapter use Aquantia AQTION AQC107 chip, v0.13.3 may not support, ASUS provide Linux driver as source file , you could try use synology open source ToolChain build your own. For your reference,3617 has native support PCie adapters, 918 does not: https://www.synology.com/en-us/compatibility?search_by=products&model=DS3617xs&category=network_interface_cards&p=1 UPDATE: just heard Synology offical 10GB adapter synology E10G18-T1 use the same Aquantia AQC107-B1 as asus ASUS XG-c100c, but i don't know if asus use Aquantia AQC107 OR Aquantia AQC107-B1 this chip has different versions. SOME useful link: https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/E10G18-T1#specs I think 3167 will works fine!
  12. Hi, I have a question. The driver for ASUS XG-c100c it's include in extra918plus_v0.13.3 ? Thx
  13. My report on update. I have 3 Xpenology running (with different versions of DSM/loader), so I waited for ds918+ extras to update them all at once. 1. Hardware: i5-7600, Intel X540-T2, LSI 9305-16i (LSISAS3224), 16*HDD. Previous version: ds3617xs, DSM 6.1.7, loader 1.02b. Goal: updated DSM and driver modules versions. Updated version: ds3617xs, DSM 6.2.2-24922, loader 1.03b+extra3617_v.0.5. Update method: migration with new loader files on usb drive. Result: absolutely flawless update. Finally I had to manually edit synoinfo.conf-s to make all my 16 HDDs visible. 2. Hardware: i3-8100, Intel X550-T1. LSI 9207-8i (LSISAS2308), 8*HDD. Previous version: ds918+, DSM 6.2.2, loader 1.04b. Goal: updated driver modules versions. Updated version: ds918+, DSM untouched, loader 1.04b+extra918_v.0.8_std. Update method: deleted old /usr/lib/modules/update/ and /usr/lib/firmware/i915/ and rebooted with new loader files on usb drive. Result: no problems detected. Still not tested, if something changed. Comment: I had previously a problem with HDD hibernation on this configuration . After hibernation HDDs did not start and required hard reboot (as DSM web interface or ssh also did not work). 3. Hardware: i5-7400, Asus XG-C100C (atlantic), LSI 9207-8i (LSISAS2308), 8*HDD. Previous version: ds3617xs, DSM 6.1.7, loader 1.02b. Goal: updated DSM and driver modules versions plus change to ds918 for NVMe cache support. Updated version: ds918+, DSM 6.2.2-24922, loader 1.04b+extra918_v.0.8_std. Update method: migration (both DSM version and hardware type) with new loader files on usb drive. Result: absolutely flawless update. Comment: I also wanted to check the hibernation feature as for (2) above. And here I checked it... After hibernations HDDs did not return to life without hard reset by button. So... First of all - many thanks to IG-88. Really amazing work! Second - sorry for offtopic, but may be someone can quickly help, if this issue was already discussed somewhere. In my two configurations HDD hibernation does not work. To be more exact - it works by going to hibernation, but does not wake up after it up to hardware reset. In both configurations I have dsm 6.2.2 for ds918+. Previously on DSM 6.1.7 for ds3617xs it worked fine on the same hardware. Currently on DSM 6.2.2 for ds3617xs it also works without problems. This problem is not directly related to extra.lzma from this topic, as I had the same problem on pure jun-s 1.04b loader. And if you are interested in - what for I need HDD hibernation and ds918 together... I want to try NVMe cache together with hibernated drives. May be it is impossible for hundred reasons... But I even can't try as hibernation does not work on the only hardware version that supports NVMe...
  14. Hey IG-88, I am new to xpenology but already set up a perfectly working hackintosh. Now I am facing problems with the Asus C100C in my Xpenology build. Could you pls send me the aquantia x2.0.10.0 driver for 3615 you compiled a while ago? My Hardware: CPU: intel i3-8100 Mainboard: asrock x370m pro 4 RAM: G.Skill NT Series DIMM 8GB, DDR4-2400 Network card: Asus XG-C100C Cheers
  15. Hi I'm new here but in need of a driver for my 10Gb lan card ( Asus XG-C100C) Aquantia chipset. I got a xpenology nas running (DS3617XS) with jun's bootloader 1.03a and DSM 6.2.... I know the guru's here got it already running on DSM 6.1 and bootloader 1.02 but I would realy like it work on my NAS to ... some help with that would be great. https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/XG-C100C/
  16. Hello everyone! I've been using Xpenology on baremetal for the past 3-4 years on an old pc (Q6600 with 4GB ram) and now I want to build a new NAS with a more acceptable power consumption and performance. I use the NAS mostly for docker (Plex, cloud storage), backup, and possibly vm (at the moment this was not doable). One of the main point of the new build is having HW decoding for 4K movies, so I need QSV (I have a plex pass). These are my needs: Compact system (m-ITX) Low power consuption (TDP <35W for cpu) 4K HW transcoding (QSV) NVME cache 10 GbE (I have 10GbE internet at home xD) I have two builds in mind: MB: Asrock H270M-ITX/ac (~112 USD) CPU: Intel Core i5-7400T (~100 USD used) MB: ASUS P10S-I (~185 USD) CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1235L v5 (~100 USD used) All with: 16 GB RAM 2400MHz (~100 USD) be quiet! Pure Power L8 300W (already own) 4x 4TB WD Red (already own) ASUS XG-C100C 10GbE network card (~80 USD) Fractal Node 304 (~40 USD used) SAMSUNG 970 Evo Plus SSD M.2, 250GB (~80 USD) What do you guys think? I've read some discussion on the actual possibility to use NVMe cache on baremetal with 6.2, so I'm considering switching to ESXi. The 10GbE seems to be working with v4.9 test extra.lzma.
  17. extra.lzma for ds3615 v4.9_test - new Aquantia driver (atlantic.ko) v2.0.10.0, positive feedback to work with Asus XG-C100C The QNAP QXG-10G1T can also be used normally. But , Extra.lzma for ds3617 v4.8 QNAP QXG-10G1T is invalid. Can the ds3617 support ASUS XG-C100C & QNAP QXG-10G1T (Aquantia AQC107)? Thank you.
  19. Hi, I'm running DS-3615xs with the 1.03b loader as well. Loving Xpenology! I'm also thinking of upgrading to the Asus XG-C100C. Have the issues been sorted out? Currently I'm using the onboard gbe lan, but I wouldn't mind upgrading. I'm considering between the Asus card or a dual gbe intel card. Any advice?
  20. Hello. I'm new here and trying to my best to understand all of this. Just installed ds918+ with 1.04b loader without any extras. And as expected Asus xg-c100c didn't show up. Tried to add extra.lzma for DS918+ v0.5_test. It starts without any problems but still no 2nd network inteface to use. I guess that this driver is not compatible with 4.4 kernel or something? Or am i doing everything wrong. I bet i do because i can't see my NVME drive anywhere. ASUS Prime B360M-A Intel i3-8100 16Gb Corsair vengeance LPX 2x8GB 2x 1TB sata 3x 2TB sata 1x 250GB NVME
  22. good to hear if you have some time, can you check the loader 1.03a2 and my extra.lzma 0.4 for 918+ image works with your asus xg-c100c nic? its the same source code version in there but there could be problems with kernel 4.4 that 918+ uses (could not get my tehuti 10G nic to work properly and some intel drivers) some feedback on that would be nice too https://mega.nz/#F!BtFQ2DgC!JgomNP3X8V9EuwxL4TXbng https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/12859-driver-extension-jun-103a2dsm62x-for-ds918/
