    do you have the videostation ffmpeg full parameters string? i would like to test on a diferent ffmpeg instalation.
  4. @Olegin did you configured anything on bios about graphics? On my instalation, codecs are active and /dev/dri as entries, but if i try to encode using vaapi, the output files are always only with sound. root@nas:~# ls -al /dev/dri total 0 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 80 Feb 26 18:47 . drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 18900 Mar 9 22:57 .. crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 226, 0 Feb 26 18:47 card0 crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 226, 128 Feb 26 18:47 renderD128 Using ffmpeg from repo: /var/packages/ffmpeg/target/bin/ffmpeg -vaapi_device /dev/dri/renderD128 -i /volume1/downloads/twd.ts -vf 'format=nv12,hwupload,scale_vaapi=w=1920:h=1080' -sn -c:v h264_vaapi -qp 20 -bf 2 -c:a aac -tune zerolatency -f matroska /volume1/downloads/test3.mkv Using VideoStation ffmpeg /var/packages/VideoStation/target/bin/ffmpeg -vaapi_device /dev/dri/renderD128 -i /volume1/downloads/twd.ts -vf 'format=nv12,hwupload,scale_vaapi=w=1920:h=1080' -sn -c:v h264_vaapi -qp 20 -bf 2 -c:a aac -tune zerolatency -f matroska /volume1/downloads/test3.mkv Output in any case: Input #0, mpegts, from '/volume1/downloads/twd.ts': Duration: 00:42:00.56, start: 43931.504333, bitrate: 4841 kb/s Program 1 Metadata: service_name : FOX HD service_provider: SID FOX HD Stream #0:0[0x192d]: Video: h264 (Main) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(tv, bt709, top first), 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 25 fps, 50 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc Stream #0:1[0x192e](por): Audio: mp2 ([4][0][0][0] / 0x0004), 48000 Hz, stereo, s16p, 192 kb/s Stream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (h264 (native) -> h264 (h264_vaapi)) Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (mp2 (native) -> aac (native)) Output #0, matroska, to '/volume1/downloads/test3.mkv': Metadata: encoder : Lavf58.20.100 Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (h264_vaapi) (High) (H264 / 0x34363248), vaapi_vld, 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], q=-1--1, 25 fps, 1k tbn, 25 tbc Metadata: encoder : Lavc58.35.100 h264_vaapi Stream #0:1(por): Audio: aac (LC) ([255][0][0][0] / 0x00FF), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 128 kb/s Metadata: encoder : Lavc58.35.100 aac frame= 2134 fps=142 q=-0.0 Lsize= 1395kB time=00:01:26.76 bitrate= 131.7kbits/s speed=5.76x video:0kB audio:1353kB subtitle:0kB other streams:0kB global headers:0kB muxing overhead: 3.088716% I think the device is present but not acessible. Do you have any idea? Ps: i did not upgraded bios on Asrock J5005-itx
  5. I did one clean install on one brand new ssd, and shutdown and reboot didnt work either. The migration was the last think i did, but the problem came from clean install too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Folowed your tuturial, instaled on askock J5005-itx with 4gb ram(i need more i know), valid sn+mac from one rs model. Migrate dsm from esxi(hdd raid 1 configuration in rdm mode), everithing went smooth. /dev/dri is in place, and codecs is activated. This combo is an amazing setup for dsm. The only thing doesent work is reboot or shutdow. I use bios 1.0 i think, its beter to upgrade or doesent mater? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Try another nic adapter on esxi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Folowed this tuturial to update my installation from dsm 6.1 on ESXi 6.7, and almost everything went well. The only problem i want to share is that my disks are RDM, and on esxi RDM cannot be maped to sata controler. Just added scsi controler, add RDM disks to scsi and set in vm bios boot to sata controler, otherwise dsm wont boot(predefined boot will be scsi).
  9. Because its a virtualized layer, you can only do that if you passthrouh the sata controler, that way, dsm will use disks with direct access to hardware. Evem rdm wont work because its well a pointer to a maped disk. If you realy need firts read about passttrough, and all implications. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    do you realy need list_smargo? justo to list your smarteader identification? or you need oscam with libusb suport? either way you can install debian chroot(from package center) and compile oscam(instructions on oscam svn) with libusb suport(it will compile list_smargo either), works very well.
