MiniPC Vinga V500

CPU - Celeron J4125 (Geminilake)

GPU - iGPU Intel UHD600

NIC1 (Onboard) - Intel i215-V

NIC2 (USB) - Tplink UE300 (RTL8153)

Installation:

1. In Rufus created MicroSD(SanDisk) bootable TC img (tinycore-redpill.v0.9.0.2.img)

2. Booted to TC (using NIC1) from MicroSD card, then ifconfig in console to find out ip

(may need the correction of date, time and ip configuration)

3. SSH to TC from other pc and ran commands:

./rploader.sh update

./rploader.sh fullupgrade

./rploader.sh identifyusb

./rploader.sh satamap

./rploader.sh serialgen DVA1622 realmac

./rploader.sh ext dva1622-7.1.0-42661 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/r8152/rpext-index.json

./rploader.sh build dva1622-7.1.0-42661

./rploader.sh backup now;

sudo reboot

4. Switched to USB Lan adapter (NIC 2)

5. after 5mins went to browser https://finds.synology.com server was detected

6. when prompted to install DSM used DSM_DVA1622_42661.pat 365mb (7.1-42661 (with Update 1) from official synology download archive

Good day friend! I have the following configuration: ASRock J4125-ITX motherboard with integrated J4125 processor, 8 gb ram, Western Digital Purple 1 Tb hdd. I have created a bootloader for DVA1622. For some reason, it takes at least 10 minutes to boot the system, and the system itself (local interface, adding cameras, opening various windows, etc.) responds very slowly and seems to freeze. And yet, I added 8 cameras, but for some reason I can only create one task for deep AI analysis or face recognition. It seems that according to the description of the DVA1622 model, you can create up to two such tasks and the specifications of this model coincide with my processor. Does your system freeze? And how many AI tasks can you run on your build? Thank you!

Dva1622 has only 2 tasks:

Face recognition = 2 tasks (only for 1 camera)

License plate = 1 task (means you can run 2 cameras for Deep Analitics such as License plate recognition)

So everything is right in your system it supposed to be like that

P.S. you said for license plate its only 1 in your case, maybe I am mistaken and 1 license plate, and one something else like crowd control but for face recognition its 100% it takes 2 tasks which makes dva1622 for 1 face recognition camera only. With dva3221 however with nvidia gpu its can be 6 cameras since it has 12 tasks.

As for slowly, it can be because of hdd, I got it slow at loads too Seagate 5400rpm, yours has 5400rpm as well, on other pc with ssd it runs fast most of the time

I still have one problem. I'd like to install a baremetal build on an HP Pavilion x360 convertable 14-ba103ur ultrabook with an 8th gen Intel I5 processor, 6 GB RAM, a 128 GB M.2 SSD, and a WD Blue 1 Tb hard drive. As a LAN card, I use a TP-Link UE300 USB 3.0 adapter based on the Realtek 8156 chip. When the bootloader is formed with the ./rploader.sh satamap command, a message appears suggesting adding 3 sata drives, and an inscription appears that 1 bad port. In fact, I have 2 devices: an M.2 SSD and a WD Blue 1 tb drive, I choose 2 sata. However, after the formation of the bootloader and loading in the USB way (the first menu item, loading by default), the system reboots and this happens cyclically - an endless reboot. I tried both 1 sata and 3 sata in the satamap command, but this does not help. The assembly was made to download an ultrabook as a DVA1622. Help me please! Thank you!

satamap is not useful in your case as dva1622 uses Portmap version2 (aka dts or dtb).

since you have an Nvidia gpu maybe you can use TCRP 0.9 and dva3621

Also  i think @sandro_66  (i think it was him if i remember correctly ) reported in different thread that he lost a disk after some time on his install, so i also asked  about reliability.

There is some prerequisite to have a good face recognition, like the camera orientation... it have to be not to high, and not watch to the bottom...

For better performance, it has to be like at 2 meters, and look less than 15° tilt...

Well its 5m above ground and angled, so at default settings (nothing changed) I would say its pretty accurate. Of course if you give ideal conditions ) 4mp camera and not 2mp like I have, then results will be much better, but I am happy with those results I have, 20% inaccuracy is pretty good for my case

P.S. Forgot to mention that those subjects are at 10m distance and still recognizes faces 80% of the time, when they look towards camera from that distance result like 95% recognition

I know this is totally useless... but if like me you don't want to have this new C2 cloud bullshit icon in Surveillance Station, you can hide it.

sudo vi /var/packages/SurveillanceStation/target/ui/modules/C2Vue/config

search for "hidden":false

replace with "hidden":true

save and reload your SS window.

Thx for lifehack, it doesnt bother me that much ) but what is annoying is that for DVA I have camera on dva1622 and connected this dsm with Local Host DSM with other cameras in CMS mode, once it records on motion from DVA camera in recordings there are no videos, I have to click Search, change from Local Host to DVA in order to see recordings from dva, there is no option to select all servers or make dva default :( not critical but still

Good afternoon dear friend! Can you please tell me if you were able to receive face recognition notifications in ds cam on your phone (I have Android)? AI functions work in my system, through the web interface I see how face recognition tasks are performed, however, in the corresponding section of DS Cam "Intelligent Recognition Technologies" is empty. Thank you!

Wrong option, it should be in notifications, your Option on screenshot is Smart Time Lapse which doesnt correspond to anything related with DVA :) change your phone to English, and you will see English interface of DS Cam and you will see how it differs

Thank you!  I realized that in the DS Cam program the translation is crooked.  In notifications, it turns out that you need to enable the push service, but how did you manage to do this on Xpenology?  Doesn't this require Quickconnect?

Hi guys, i have an Intel 11th gen N5105 board, obviously still not supported by XPEnology. Can I install EXSI then install this DVA1622 on exsi VM, will it work?😢

Is it because of the card ? You can use a usb to Ethernet card
