Salut mise en place d'une carte reseau 10Gb Asus XG-C100C

Hello, I'm trying to fresh install DSM 7.1.1 on an old pc of mine, baremetal i5 2500K and Asus B75M-A, 12GB ram, WD 4TB blue for testing. I downloaded DSM_DS3617xs_42962.pat and the machine can be seen by find.synology.com... The problem is that, when I install the.pat file, and then the 10 minutes' countdown starts, the machine reboots after about 30 sec, then I choose ...(USB, verbose) from the grub menu...and I'm back to the installation process. What causes the loop behaviour? Am I missing something? Thank you!

Пробовал разные USB порты. Может кто пробовал завести на этой материнке ? Образы DS3617+ и DS3615+ не определяются в сети.

Прошу знатоков подсказать - что взлетит + что понадобится? Версии 918/920/3221 встают - но в сети не найти (по IP /порту не находит)

Извини дружище давно в ветку не заходил. На загрузчике ARC удалось запустить минимально на матерях второго поколения. (DS3622xs и DS920 - обязательно 4 и более Gb ОЗУ и режим AHCI на винты в БИОСе). На "коре дуба" использовал загрузчик juns 1.2b + 2 Gb OЗУ. Для использования ставил ds3515xs. пробовал и ds918, DSM 6.1.7. Четыре машинки таких работают без нареканий. Пробовал устанавливать раз 10 - все успешно. Матери в основном ASUS P5.....

Чтоб не плодить темы спрошу тут. Есть роутер Asus с белым IP и настроенным DDNS asuscomm,порты проброшены. Из вне могу зайти по IP и DDNS в приложения DSfile DSget Photos. В DSM зайти не могу "Не удается получить доступ к сайту". Включал на роутере DMZ, в DSM заходит, но я так понимаю что так опасно выставлять хрень в интернет. Ума не приложу в чём может быть проблема. Пару лет назад на DSM 6.2 через DDNS и проброс всё работало но подтормаживало, пользовался в основном tailscale. Сейчас стоит DSM 7.2 arc loader.

Hi everyone, I recently installed DSM7 using automated redpill loader. Which is an amazing improvement from previous DSM 7 install methods BTW. Anyway, most things are working well. But I can't get virtual machine manager to work. I have tried ubuntu, virtual DSM and home assistant virtual machine and all of them wont power on. When I try to power them on I get an error that says "Failed to power on the virtual machine". Another thing I can't get to work is webdav, but I'm not sure if this is related? There isn't much help in the VMM log - all it says is VM failed to start. I get an error which shows up for about a second in VMM before it says it failed which says "Powering on (no network connection is available)" What I have tried so far: turn on Intel VT in motherboard BIOS changing all the settings I can find within VMM tried private and external network switch in VMM Current hardware: Intel i5 7500 ASUS h110M-A/DP I'm using a PCI NIC which I believe has an intel chip. I can't find the exact name as I bought it a while ago. I was using the same NIC in a different system running DSM6.1 and VMM worked fine. All the network interfaces are showing as normal in the control panel I've been stuck on this for a while and would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi there, I made VM to work in Intel and AMD platform. On Intel, MB Asus B85 with Intel Xeon E3-1240L v3 I could get VM to work with 3622xs+ and M-shell loader. On AMD, M5A78L-M LX/BR, with Phenom II X4, I could only make VM to work with SA6400. (I get the same message ""Failed to power on the virtual machine") if I do with 3622xs+ on this platform.) with M-shell loader. And remember, 95% of Synology hardware has expansion ports, this meas the DS923+ can go up to 9 bays. I do not know how this works on the loader, but it is a thought.

Hi, look for Chromebox-like computers, they can fit there together with external M.2 SATA controller. Pinouts of backplate can be soldered directly to SATA cables. This is motherboard from Asus UN45, for example.

Motherboard: Asus B550m-Plus CPU: AMD Ryzen 3950x RAM: 16GBx2 Gskill Ripjaws GPU: AMD 5500XT 8GB HDD: Seagate Ironwolf 10TB Power supply: Corsair 450watt SFF I turned off SMT in the Bios as it only saw 16 cores anyway. Turned on CSM for legacy boot and it worked. Testing for Plex encoding and it is light speed faster than my 920+. CPU usage encoding is like 10% and multiple encoded offsite streams seem to not raise it beyond 40% I bought it for a gaming station and I never game. Had it sitting here. I am now debating on switching over my Plex server to the Ryzen. Is there a CPU benchmark to try? A way to test the amount of transcodes that can be done simultaneously?

Bonjour, Je vient ici trouver un peu d'aide, mon installation est une CM Asus Prime B250m-C avec un I3-6100T et 16Go de ram, j'ai 4 HDD de 4To et une carte réseau Intel E1000E J'ai tenté dans un 1er temps DVA1622, puis DS920+, DS918 et également DS3622XS mais au final dans Synology assistant je ne vois jamais apparaitre mon serveur Avait vous une idée ? Комп Lenovo IdeaCentre 310S-08IGM, Intel Celeron J4005 сетевая r8168 no connection при старте Решил проверить на втором компе - i3 4330, ASUS материнка, Сеть точно такая же пишет в AIDA. Там мигом всё обнаруживается. и устанавливается, но тот комп для другого. Как запустить сеть на на lenovo, подскажите пожалуйста? Образ arc_4GB-24.1.6.img

Думаю проблема тут прежде всего в Сокете.... Всё таки 775 сокет (ASUS P5KPL-AM) достаточно древний нежели сокет 1155 (MSI B75MA-P45). Шестую версию ещё можно было установить на 775 (из личных проб) и то не на все модели и это видимо предел для Хрени Ну таки с Победой , в нашем строю прибыло .....)))

Снова всем форумчанам день добрый. 28.12.23 я пытался установить на древнем компе (ASUS P5KPL-AM и C2Duo E7500, 4Gb ОЗУ) через загрузчик ARC DSM 7. Не видел диски. Притом не видел ещё из под загрузчика. Красным писал что вставьте хоть 1 диск. В Биосе диск виден. Пробовал разные варианты дисков (с "грязным" и "чистым" разделом, вообще без него. Пытался что то сделать в БИОС. Пробовал разные виды Устройств (с DT и без DT). Все безрезультатно. (Вот сейчас подумал - можно ещё старые ARC попробовать). Но сдался. Взял чуть по-новее систему (MSI B75MA-P45 , I5-3450. 8Gb ОЗУ) - DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 3 без каких-то танцев с бубнами. Любопытство удовлетворил. Но ежели кому удастся на Core2Duo поставить - пишите. Может кто с другим загрузчиком победит?

Your question feels like a feeling of déjà vu. Didn't I already give a similar answer? I think I made SHR by combining PCIE type ASUS Hyper M.2 adapter with MOBO's M.2? However, no one can guarantee stability when doing this.

My system: MB: M5A78L-M LX/BR CPU: Athlon 2 X4 RAM: 16GB HDD: 3x 1TB + 1x 2TB Onboard NIC: Realtek® 8111E I was unable to run a virtual machine on the box. it keep saying "fail to turn on". I got my hands on a new system. Asus B85M CPU: Core i5 4770k RAM: 32GB DDR3 I installed 3622xs with update 4 normally, but could not get a virtual machine to rum, same message again. Does anyone know where to find a log file to analise what is wrong?

Пробовал убирать старые разделы. Создавать пустые и форматнутые. Может ему UEFI нужна? Кто-нибудь на старье поднимал 7,2?

Hello Everyone and thank for reading me, I have a small issue with my new configuration, here is the specs : Asus z390 tuf gaming plus wifi I7-9700KF 32GB of RAM Nvidia Quadro P200 HBA card for SAS drives OEM 9211-8i 6 x 10TB SAS Hard Drives and 2 x 4TB SAS SSD For the OS part, I do use : TCRP 10 Model DVA3221 (for the native integration of the Nvidia Library to use Plex with the P200) Version 7.1.1-49652 u1 (to migrate from my real DS1515+ with synology assistant, the need to be on the same version) The loader build and first boot all come well, successfully installing and configuring my raid groups (1 x SHR2 with the 10TB drives and 1 x SHR with the 4TB SSD, I'm using SHR because I might add some larger disk). The issue is happening after a reboot (or a boot after a halt) with this behaviour: The system is booting before the hard drives (or SSD), so the synology seems to be ready but in fact it has some missing hard drives that shows up after a short delay (between 10 and 30 seconds) so all the raid groups are degraded and volumes offline... I didn't find anyone else having this issue here. Any guess on what might be the problem ? Is there any solution to "slower" the system boot ? (I tried extend BIOS wait time to the maximum 10 sec instead of 2 and grub.cfg timeout without any change) Thanks for the help.

4. Add EMMC as the system installation disk (synoinfo). As soon as I read this point I immediately wanted to try it. I have a mini PC with 64GB EMMC and I would like to use it like this. I built the loader using ds918+ from USB and the new option in synoinfo: support_emmc_boot=yes - Only use EMMC as the system disk(applicable without Sata) When the loader starts, no disk is detected when installing DSM. I would love to have more explanation from @wjz304 about this point to make it work, that would be great! If wjz304 needed a tester for this hardware I have 2 different mini pcs with emmc. No, I´m not talking about this hardware. I´m talking about all ports on the mother board Asus B85M. All 4 ports sata 3 has it on sata channel. One for each port. Sata 2 ports has one channel only for both. Добрый день. Сейчас имеется ASUS AT5IONT-I DELUXE, hdd wd purple 2TB, 2Gb ram. Установлено DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 2(DS3615xs). Есть возможность поменять на ASUS H110T+Core i3-6100+4GB ram. В основном использую plex, synology photos и download station. Как безболезненно поменять материнки? Если установить windows на H110T и DSM сделать в виртуалке, на сколько это скажется на быстродействии и возможен ли такой перенос без потери данных?

Today, my B85M-E/BR with Xeon E3-1240L V3 is working like a charmed with a Windows 10 virtual machine. access to VM via browser is not acceptable - too slow. I activated remote desktop and connect to it via MSTSC. It is very fast and clean. I purchase this Xeon on Aliexpress because it is a 25W TDP. For my needs, it is ok. Restrictions for this motherboard: it has 4x sata 3 and 2x sata 2. All sata 3 works, but only one sata 2 works. The controller for this ports is "port multiplayer" and keep disconnecting from my 3622xs+. DSM 7.2-69057 UP 3. HW: Asus B85M-E/BR, 32Gb of memory, HDD: 1x 2Gb, 8x 1GB whith Asmedia and Marvel PCI-SATA cards.

I have Asus B85M-E/BR, with the same configuration and I cannot use all 6 sata portas. Sata 2 ports uses a port multiplayer and the disk is disconnected 5 or 6 minutes after boot. I´m using a Xeon 1240L V3 (4cx8T) with only 25W. Could you use all 6 sata ports?
