is the VirtualBox extension package installed with this package? I intend to use VirtualBox Remote Display Protocol (VRDP).

Definitely. I have 5 x 4TB, 2x 3TB, 1 x 6TB SAS He6 , 2 x 750GB ( 2.5" ), and 1x 128GB SSD + 1x 256GB SSD. The SSD are for mails, website, database, and virtual machine, while the rest are for storage and backup. That's 32TB+.

Problem solved. I've was able to use this guide to figure out the correct usbportconfig on /etc/synoinfo.conf and /etc.default/synoinfo.conf viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2028&hilit=usbportcfg

I have a 8 port LSI SAS card, hook up to most of my hard drives. It's a native install, with Nanoboot loaded from a 256mb USB drive. The computer boots from the USB drive without issue. However, My xpenology install can't recognize any USB disk, or USB sound card. in /etc/synoinfo.conf file: maxdisks="16" esataportcfg="0xff000" internalportcfg="0x3fffff" usbportcfg="0xf00000" ## ( tried "0x1FC0", still didn't work ). anyone has experience of how to troubleshoot this?

i do want to use my onboard audio to output to my sound system as well.

About once every 2 days, I would not able to login through phpVirtualBox. I get the error during login: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from '/volume1/web/phpvirtualbox/lib/vboxwebService-4.3.wsdl' : failed to load external entity "/volume1/web/phpvirtualbox/lib/vboxwebService-4.3.wsdl"

I can create 64bit VM now. Only in bare metal install. it's independence from Java version installed.

Is 64bit VM available for you? I don't know why I can not choose any 64bit VM OS. Does this depends on Java version install on DSM? because DSM only install 32bit Java from Java Manager ( the official Java installer for DSM ) .

i'm thinking to get the SUPERMICRO MBD-A1SRi-2758F-O. It's a bit faster than the C2750, and it uses the SoC's quad Gigabit ethernet. Does anyone now if intel I354 driver is included in Nanoboot?

What type of Ram are you using? does it take 1.50v DIMM?

Have you try Nanoboot with this board? are all Ethernet recognized? all SATA port work? This board is truely pricy. almost $400.

XPEH : Do you have the option to install 64bit Virual machine? mine only limits to 32bit.

I can not start the VM. My set up is using ESxi5.5. The error message was the CPU is not supported with VT-x. I guess I have to try bare metal install?

The LSI 9211-8i is fulling working. i have one myself. My issue is, my 1st drive starts from 4th HD.

to OP, I can't seem to get the disk to populate from slot 1. My hard drive starts from HD4 ( slot 4 ). I am passing through a LSI 8 port HBA to Xpenology's VM.

I have a similar problem, that Video Station can not transcode, so video won't play in the browser. Is this caused by the same problem?

Do we know what's the cause of Video Station not able to stream or transcode? is it solely due to incorrect serial number?
