AMD has Vega gpu but there is not compatible wifh Synology and Plex. If you prefer use virtual from Windows or linux, at least you can play with your Vega.

@Peter Suh I add your lastest .img but I can´t boot on Proxmox I try like sata with this command and change order boot to sata qm importdisk 102 /var/lib/vz/dump/tinycore-redpill.v0.9.3.0.m-shell.img local-lvm Also I test it like usb but no boot, I think is issue of .img because I try with tinycore-redpill.v0.9.3.0.img and boot without errors. With the same bootloader 0.9.3 m-shell - DSM 7.1.1-42962 install and works - Now update to U2 and not ip - Delete .img and use fresh img, create an other build. Can detect ip and need to migrate, and other time lost ip With bootloader 0.9.3 pocopico - Create a build and migrate, works then restart and login to DSM I use this configuration on Proxmox because I don’t want to loss a sata. Img over usb works well with all bootloaders. Thanks

It´s better than menu ARPL, but I think there are only one form to make a build and intuitive without issue. I know at least three forms to make a build.

I don´t use ./my.sh DS3622xs+F, only use new menu to create a build. It is less intuitive if you need commands and new graphical menu. Other question, I try to recovery with other time start to new with other build 0.9.3 m-shell and migrate, but not recovery (no ip but serial port show me Synology login). I try then with pocopico 0.9.3 and get to recovery, works with DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 2 and I can login with ip. I undestand exists any issue with 0.9.3 m-shell or I haven´t done something rigth.

I tested with Proxmox new tinycore-redpill.v0.9.3.0.m-shell.img. Generate one build with menu.sh. First create model, then generate random serial and mac, finally build the loader. Not found DiskIdMap, SataPortMap, sn and mac1. What is the issue? Other question, how change keyboard map? I have installed DSM 7.1.1-42962 over DS3622xs+ and works, but then I try to update to DSM 7.1.1-429662 Updte 2 and not works. Only works with Update 0 and then need rebuild for Update 2?

I think is not possible create a bootloader with nmve or ssd, you need usb pendrive.

Yo entiendo que es una placa base china, y suelen usar Realtek, no creo que ayude para nada, aunque lo que más ayuda es probar con TCRP, y si realmente hay algo, comentarlo a fabio de ARPL para que lo solucione en siguientes betas. Recordar que todo esto esta en desarrollo, y que por cualquier motivo siempre es bueno comentarlo al desarrollador para encontrar soluciones, no seguir buscando problemas.

El pendrive solo sirve para iniciar DSM, puedes probar con ARPL por si fuera ese el problema, pero como te comento, no se si será exactamente igual pero tengo un Q8200 que con Proxmox al cabo de unos minutos se “cuelga” y me deja sin conexión, y es probar con otra cpu distinta y va bien el equipo. Sino siempre puedes probar con un disco duro “vacio” y comprobar DSM 7 que funciona bien con tu equipo, que da igual sea Xeon de Intel o un Ryzen de AMD, todos pueden fallar y dar problemas.

Da la sensación que sea problema de hardware. Funciona bien con otros sistemas?

I think is no possible because free tier is with Ampere ARM and need x86/64 cpus. With AMD cpu only 1 OCPU and 1 GB ram, with limitations. I am banned by Oracle because I have for 3 months one server with UBuntu and rclone, but I don’t know it is the rules with no opensource like DSM by Synology run in their servers.

Ya te comente por el grupo de Telegram, pero bueno te respondo por aquí. Lo primero, si no quieres cargarte nada, simplemente es desconectar los discos sata que tengas, aunque no creo que modifiques nada por crear un lanzador o “bootloader” en un pendrive. Luego, estas mezclando ARPL (Automatic Redpill Loader) con TCRP (Tinycore Redpill), es lo mismo pero aclarate que quieres utilizar o como te podemos ayudar, porque aunque sea iguales, cada uno tiene una forma de ejecutarse distinta, uno mediante comandos y el otro mediante una interfaz gráfica. Aparte, en el grupo tienes muchos tutoriales, mucha información, pero por lo menos en mi caso no uso tarjetas SAS. Te dejo información importante que debes saber con ese tipo de tarjetas. Y luego ya por último, ejecutar unos comandos de msdos no es saber nada de linux, simplemente es copiar y pegar, no estas programando ni nada, solo hay que saber entender porque ejecutas cada comando. Te dejo los que funcionan, aunque algunos los puedes obviar, solo te dejo en el centro los importantes. Con listmods te detectará todos los drivers de tu hardware (siempre que haya alguno en el repositorio compatible), al igual que con otro comando similar como es ext “plataforma” auto. Y por que no usais Tailscale como vpn? Tiene aplicación en el Centro de aplicaciones y es muy sencilla de configurar, no necesitas mucho más que con Zerotier u OpenVPN. Es lo más parecido a Quickconnect que podais tener, que para portainer y cosas así viene mejor tener una vpn ya que puedes incluso conectar a otros servicios sin abrir sus puertos.

You can use old pc with Windows and test, and then you buy other with disks. I have several NAS, Synology DS410J, HP Microserver Gen 8, Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge and Intel Nuc J3455. All options are cheap, depends on your needs.
