Some have DSM 6.0 on 40L ? Or let run on 5.2 ? Because UPS are not detected by DSM ... Don't know if this can be use .... viewtopic.php?p=4292#p4292 -

Someone have an idea why APC UPS is not detected by DSM. I plugged on USB port on my N40L. If i check /var/log, anything.... I am not sure all USB ports are enabled with this loader. If i plug USB drive on the front, nothing... But behind it's ok. -
I tried all of the three 1.02a images on mega.nz. Are there more available with AMD driver package? Non of the Images worked with my N40L so far. There was no Network-Connection for sure. I checked the port on my switch and also the ARP-Table. Because the System was stuck with 6.1 on loader 1.01 and 1.02 not working, I had to format the first partition to downgrade from 6.1 to 6.0 because he just offered me to recover the system which did not work. A reinstallation or forced installation was not possible on the N40L as I've described before. Hum. Personnaly, my netgear saw the NAS and DHCP give an IP address. But nothing after... Thanks you. Maybe it will be better to install ESxi on N40L and after Xpenology

Ok thanks. I will try. I tried Trantor release too, but it's same. Not network signal... on the N40L motherboard and on the RTL8111... EDIT: Same with it... I tried : DS3615xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02-alpha DS3617xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02-alpha DS3615xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02-alpha-TEST Any working on N40l, no network... Stay on 1.01 and 6.02/

I was in 5.0, and i upgraded to 6.02 in november. I had SHR volume (6x2TB) in ext4. If i should retry, i will create a new volume, with new system BTRFS. I don't know if it's very stable to keep the same volume for data after many upgrade... -
Sorry, but can you give what loader you use ? I am trying DS3617xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02-alpha on N40L, nothing....

Strange. Why we need to format the first linux raid ? Did you check the ping over the network ? Or just web interface ?? Did you use 1.02a from Jun or Trantor release ?

Thanks you So it's a problem with DSM 6.0 and not with the loader ? I thought it was a driver problem.... But now I have another problem after power off the Dsm interface is not reachable .... And SHR work with this loader or not ? I saw it's disable... But I had no problem during the update from 5.2 to 6.0...

Coupure de courant. Le Syno a rebooté, mais plus d'accès web, ni ssh. Ca ping c'est tout. Vous conseillez quoi ? Je refais la clé et retenter une install.migration ? EDIT: C'esdt ce que jai fait. Synology Assitant le detecte avec tout ce que je lui ai configuré sur grub. Serial et Mac OK. Sauf que impossible d'y accéder par le web ??? J'ai jamais eu ça.... Le ping repond. Rien sur le 22 ou 23... Edit2: je viens de voir que le loader supportait pas le SHR en le désactivant ? J'ai eu aucun people elles de ma migration en 5.2 à 6.0.... C'est nouveau ça ? J'aurai pas un conflit avec les volumes maintenznt au reboot et Ca bloque le boot complet ? Faut que j'essaye sans DD pour voir Ca se trouve Ca massse M'enfin je vois pas pourquoi du jour au lendemain le Volume est plus dispo et bloque le boot ... -

Salut Y en a qui utilisent un onduleur ? J'ai un APC il marchait avec la 5.0 et là j'ai passé en 6.0 et il est plus détecté -
I was on DSM 5.2, my APC was detected without problem. On DSM 6.0, nothing.... I plug the USB cable, and Any inverter are detected. I am on HP Proliant.

Merci de la réponse. Les drivers j'avais la même liste sur un post en anglais. Y a juste cette remarque que j'ai pas compris : * Note: r8169 from Trantor archive doesn't work with my on-board Realtek RTL8111GR. So I kept the existing which is also much bigger. Donc là je génère un .img de la clé et je la reflash sur un autre et zouh c'est parti. J'ai modifié en ligne de commande le pid et vid, et non par le PC. Du coup ca sera pas la même clé, il faut que je refasse la modification avec le vid et pid de l'autre clé. (juste avant de booter ?) Enfin, j'ai vu la remarqué pour le MTU, j'ai oublié de vérifier hier. C'est dans les options du Syno ? ou c'est vraiment un réglage matériel au niveau de la carte ?? EDIT: Bon ma seconde carte sous RTL8111 marche nickel finalement. J'ai juste fait le boulet. L'adresse Mac que j'ai spécifié, est la même que mon autre Syno, et comme j'ai une réservation d'adresse Mac, ca lui a attribué la même IP que le premier qui est démarré. Donc jamais possible d'accéder au nouveau au final... Conflit d'IP... Je m'en suis rendu compte en branchant les deux en même temps. Parfait du coup. -

Worked perfectly on N54L from 5.0 on Nanoboot. Thanks you very much. Just one thing, i have two Network card, one integrated, worked. And another on pci-e port, and nothing... I see on the interface, but when i plug the cable, cannot ping.... It's RTL8111 chipset... Maybe i forgot something ??? EDIT: It's worked perfectly, i made a misstake.... I use the same MAC than my other NAS, and with the rule on my router for this mac, the same IP was set... So IP address was in conflict and the new Synology was not been reachable... I saw the problem when i plugged two network card in same time. So any problem for me with N54L and 6x2To. Congratulations. PS: I made Update 6.

Bon, installer sur mon N54L. Il était sous un 5.0, j'ai tenté direct la MAJ avec une nouvelle clé. Pour information j'ai deux cartes réseaux sur la bestiole, celle intégré, et une carte Pci E realtek. Quand j'ai fait mac1 et mac2 je sais pas à quelle interface il a associé.... Ensuite, après avoir choisit le PAT, j'ai lancé, j'ai eu une erreur disant de se connecter en telnet... Finalement l'IP avait changé, et il avait repris l'IP d'avant migration. (pas sur la même carte je crois mais pas sur...) Du coup, volume nickel. Configuration aussi. c'est parfait... Bon le HighAvailibity fonctionne toujours pas en SHR. Et donc ma seconde carte réseau en PciE équipé d'un RTL8111 ne fonctionne pas, quand je plug ca s'éclaire mais j'arrive jamais à joindre... Le pilote ne serait pas inclus ? Faut demander sur l'autre topic anglais ? Je teste les nouveautés là, la nouvelle centralisation du Backup a l'air vraiment bien faite avec l'assistant. Ah oui, et j'ai utilisé une autre clé USB, je fais comment si je veux réutiliser la première que j'avais avec Nanoboot ? Faut que je refasse tout ? Je dois la cloner ?
