  2. Hello everyone, I would like to share a personal project that I am developing. It is another loader for TTG Redpill, intended to be as automatic and user-friendly as possible. The link is below, download the image and record it on a flash drive, the rest is done on the same computer. I'm Brazilian and I'm not good at English language, so forgive me for translation errors. I used forum knowledge and code from various loaders developed by TTG, pocopico, jumkey, Jun and many others. Hope you like it. https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl Edit: An important information that I forgot to mention is that I developed a simple patch to no longer display the DUMMY port error on models without device-tree, the user will be able to install without having to worry about it

  3. List of mirror links to DSM 5.x and DSM 6.x boot loaders. Please drop a comment if you see a broken link or some erroneous information. All other posts will be deleted. Before downloading a loader I suggest you read this topic (for DSM 6.x) or this topic (for DSM 7.x) to know which loader to download. DSM 7.x - Read Flyride topic Tinycore-redpill (TCRP) Releases | Download is straight from Github. Link to code: https://github.com/pocopico/tinycore-redpill OR (the choice is yours) Automated RedPill Loader (ARPL) Releases | Download is straight from Github. 5. That part regarding DSM update is not that important for TCRP FRIEND. You don't have to spend your energy on it. You just have to respond appropriately when the next update comes out, whether it is manually installed or automatically installed. No problem.

  11. You can't upgrade from alpha to Beta, you need to download the new archive start scratch from there and if you want to keep your config, just copy the whole text to notepad in alpha and paste it to beta.

  12. The power consumption measured by Jonsbo N1Case and ASUS IOT H310Mi-IM-A R2.0 + MOBO + G5500 introduced in the review above and The separately prepared ECS BAT-I V1.2 J1900 discloses the measured power consumption under the same disk conditions. Because the captured photo is a Korean-style power meter, Hangul is included. Each item will be explained in advance. Power consumption is in the upper left, voltage is in the upper right, current is in the lower left, and usage time is in the lower right. As you can see in the picture, my main XPE Jonsbo N1, G5500-54W (1 cache SSD, 5 3.5 inch HDD) consumes 45.2 W in IDLE. ECS MOBO's J1900-10W (1 cache SSD, 5 3.5-inch HDDs) used in the test consumes 42.8 W in IDLE. The difference in power consumption between the two XPEs is 2.4 W, which is not much difference. For a long time, I've seen the XPE community buy low-power CPUs at high prices. Even among users, it is said that there is no need to insist on a low-power CPU. If possible, low power is advantageous, but expensive, It might be worth thinking about whether a lower-power CPU that pays a higher price actually saves a lot of power.
