anything regarding the bootloop?

TCRP Friend cannot find the loader disk to mount.

There is a 5 second timer until TCRP Friend tries to boot DSM. I need you also to stop with ctrl-c and run the following commands  and send me the output ?

lspci -nnq
lsusb
fdisk -l

The lspci -q option is not supported.
Would lspci -nn or lspci -tvnn be enough?

lspci -nnq does not work, it says :

root@tcrpfriend:~# lspci -nnq
lspci: DNS queries are not available in this version

It did it without the q though, it can be interesting perhaps?

lspci.txt

The other commands :

patchkernel.txt

patchramdisk.txt

Thanks a lot!!!

EDIT : i grabbed the results using ssh, very convenient!!! In my case, /mnt/tcrp corresponds to the 3rd partition on the usb drive.

@pocopico

Now, the download of the friend repo on Github has been stabilized, and all updates can be processed.

On my main XPE, the ASUS H310, which had the problem, I'm still getting the same error from the NVMe cache.

So, I tried it on the DELL T1700, which was prepared as a test PC.

Again, I prepared NVMe cache and recognized it as DS3622xs+ bare metal.

The contents of the capture are after booting through the TCRP friend loader on the DELL T1700.

Represents the NVMe cache caught by the storage manager.

The difference between the two NVMe cache installation methods is that ASUS H310 is installed in the built-in M.2 slot,

and DELL T1700 is installed through a separate external M.2 adapter PCIE type card.

I'll try more when I get another MOBO with a built-in M.2-type slot I have.

What is the singularity?

Will the log file left in /mnt/tcrp help in analyzing the cause?

Hm I tried but no update was detected or installed, so the problem still remains:

Okay, I have to suggest one more thing, after booting press, CtrlC, and execute

mount /dev/sdb3 /mnt/tcrp
mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/tcrp-p1
mount /dev/sdb2 /mnt/tcrp-p2
./boot.sh

What should I say, you are my hero!

Now it's working, I am able to successfully boot and update to DSM 7.1.1

I'm afraid this will be a bit to small. Can you replace it ?

Unfortunately not, it is hard connected to the mainboard.

I found another issue, on 7.1.1. I am not able to activate WOL.

I have configured the real MAC address as normal. I will try it with the other DSM versions.

I used the following ACPID extension: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/redpill-acpid/rpext-index.json

Maybe I will try the one of dodo-dk or jimmyGALLAND.

The MAC address is written while booting. Please also check your linux line while booting for the MAC Address
