  1. Is there an update for version DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 4 available?
  2. you can edit the vm config files directly with a text editor and change e1000 to e1000e.
  3. cross the fingers that the repo will come back soon.
  4. Hi @wjz304 your rr repository was deleted. Was that intended?
  5. I have tested your new version but even here /mnt/ is empty.
  6. I am using Parallels for mac. I have to convert the vmdk to hdd via qemu but with this approach I am able to ARPL and tinycore redpill successful.
  7. there is nothing mounted as it looks like. I used the vmdk maybe an error in the vm-image?
  8. this is how it looks like direct after the boot process: and this is the content of /home/tc: Now my question is, what should I do to open the m-shell menu?
  9. @Peter Suh I was trying your last release of M-shell when I booted the VM image no menu is shown and the tc folder under home is empty. Do I have to initiate your loader somehow?
  10. hm ok and there will be no after because the some error message as above: modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'acpi_cpufreq': No such device modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'acpi_cpufreq': No such device
  11. here the results of my real test NAS before the governor change: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/19656573
  12. My test system is a 9 years old macbook. I have 2 NAS systems. One is for testing and one with the real data. So I try it on my real testsystem. If something is messed up there, it doesn't matter.
  13. I am on 3622xs. I will try it on my real NAS maybe with another result.
  14. I fixed the link in the meantime. This is my test system working within a Parallels VM.
  15. @idaanx when I execute the command modprobe acpi-cpufreq && echo "performance" | tee /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/scaling_governor I get the following error on my ARPL system: modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'acpi_cpufreq': No such device Any idea how to fix? Here is my benchmark before switching the governor: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/19655399
  16. Do you created a ticket for that issue in Github?
  17. That was the reason for me to change to ARPL too. Same hardware and mac configuration abut WOL is only working for me with ARPL.
  18. at some point the will be no update at the screen. Are you able to find your NAS here: https://finds.synology.com/ ?
  19. I receive the following error message: root@DSM-ARPL:/bin# sudo ./arpl-reboot.sh junior|config -ash: config: command not found
  20. The addon reducelog was not added to my loader. But when I add these addon the error message is gone. So the error raises in my case only when the addon reducelog is not activated. Looks like there is a bug around this new function.
  21. I have in the newest version (beta6) the following issue:
  22. I have the same problem with TCRP. With ARPL everything is working fine.
  23. With Friends is another patching approach. Here you have the advantage that you are able to install DSM updates without the need to modify the loader. Here the with friend-mode do this for you on the fly.
  24. is that new command schema also for the extension manager applicable?
