i have a Gen8 and running 5.0. can someone please assist me in the steps on how to upgrade and keep all my settings and apps. thanks

Hi All I do not know if this is posted somewhere but I would like to know what the steps are for this. I have downloaded all the items just need to be 100% on how I upgrade. I am running off a MicroSD Card in the Gen8 and have my RAID 5 set-up and my apps installed. If someone can guide me it will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi All Is it safe to upgrade from DSM 5.0-4528 Update 2 to DSM 5.1-5022 Update 2 ? Or is there just to may bug and issues that people are having. I know the Team has worked hard to solve most of them but i am reading the forms and people have some issues still. Thanks

HI All What Makes / Brands can one use in an HP MicroServer Gen8 with DSM 5.0-4528 Update 2. I have a PCI-E SATA Contoller Card and want to add my 8 disks to DSM but it is not picking up. So i take it that the xpenology boot image does not have the drives. Can someone please list the Makes / Brands. Also is the Marvell SATA 6G Drives added at all. Thanks.

GOT THIS WORKING :) : THANKS ALL So i followed the guide you gave me the ISO will not work so i got the .img file same version When it loads i still get the below on the screen. eth0 NOT RUNNING eth1 NOT RUNNING Then at the bottom i have: Excution Error DiskStation Logon: That is it and i cannot find my machine at all. Any advice please. Thanks

Ok thanks so then 5.1 i will leave alone until bugs are fixed. will 5.0 work ? If so are there any changes i need to make.
