Anyone with any ideas guys, as to why this is happening.

Board: Asus Prime Z270-P CPU: I5 6400 (Skylake) RAM: 8GB I have Video station working with a 4k video it streams ok to samsung s21. using Plex with Plex pass same video is working but cpu is high via edge or chrome win11 What are the commands to getting activation.conf and what drivers do i need. TIA guys EDIT: AME is working ok as well.

Guys trying to setup DS918+ 6.2-2379 104b using real macs and serial, but getting this, does anyone know what is happening as i cannot setup my NAS and use quickconnect etc. was getting the same problem with v7 hence went to 6.2, i am stuck as to know what is happening. cheers guys

Hi, just installed the DS918+ with this loader but do you have drivers for Intel X520-DA2 as it does not recognize i have it. and what would be the best way to add the drivers as well as the macs. cheers guys

Did get it eventually @IG-88 by going the 7.1 route instead of 7.0 what i was trying. thanks again

Guys managed to get the above installed but when it goes to reboot and starts the countdown it gets stuck in recover mode after counting down. the setup is Dell R710 server. 2 x Intel Xeon L5630@2.13Ghz 24Gb DDR3 ECC memory Dell Perc 200I flashed to IT mode iDRAC6 4 QLOGIC BCM5709C onboard INTEL PRO 1000 dual 1gbe nic card that i am using ./rploader.sh update ./rploader.sh fullupgrade ./rploader.sh identifyusb ./rploader.sh serialgen realmac ./rploader.sh listmods bromolow-7.0.1-42218 ./rploader.sh build bromolow-7.0.1-42218 I install the DSM_DS3615xs_42218 pat file from but when it reboots to start it just counts down then it says recover. Trying to load DSM7 DS3615xs on a R710 server cannot remember the procedure for redpill, looking for help on this guys. it gets updated day by day so struggling with this, its a legacy system. I can get jun's loader 1.0.1 dsm 6.0.1 working but looking to do full bare metal install of dsm 7 hence asking what the procedure is. cheers

Got one installed as well mate, but still doesn't give me an ip after I build the loader. What version of dsm are you using.

Finally got it only with Jun's Loader 1.01, v6.0.2 DS3615xs_8451 pat file. Got the 4 internal macs in the grub.cfg I have a Perc H200I flashed in IT mode So it looks as if i cannot take this anywhere else, as i have spent a lot of time reading the forum. If anyone can shed a light in taking this up to 6.2 i would be happy with that. Cheers

Guys got two Intel Xeon L5630 @2.13 GHz Processors 8 cores, 24 Gb memory. BCM5709C 4 1 Gb ports plus 2.5Gb Realtek nic card installed. what is the lowest BareMetal DSM i can go, then i can go from there. cheers guys

cheers mate still not getting an IP from the 2.5gb card, albeit i am getting an IP when installing the TCRP loader tho. Put the my own mac in still nothing.

Cheers mate, yes 008E25711489 is the real nic for the 2.5 gb card but I cannot access SA or find.synology.com. Winscp cannot find my ip, and I only get an ip when configuring the TCRP loader after reboot nothing.

Thanks mate, I have now ordered an Perc H200 card to flash to IT mode. I tried to get the DS3622xs setup but it wouldn't give me an ip from any of the ports, so i disabled them. I have a 2.5gbe card for my pc put it into the server and that gave me an IP address, used the real mac and port for that card. loaded up the broadwellnk on the flash drive for DSM 7 but i get no ip, nothing from the router, so cannot boot from that to install DSM. Will dig a bit deeper into trying to get this work. cheers for your help mate

Thanks bud, I have ordered a perc h700 card to flash in IT mode. Will look into the DS3622xs and give it a go. I don't know anything virtualization of any kind, but willing to try. Cheers Would like to try to get DSM 7 on it. Does this server support 12tb drives, need to test it.

As per the heading what dsm can i put on the R710 do i need new hardware etc to make it work. no experience on server related stuff before. Thanks goes to @IG-88 for getting this sorted for me in the 6.2 build as the DS918+ only has 2 lan ports. edit synoinfo.conf located in /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf maxlanport="2" I changed it to 8. Also edit /etc/synoinfo.conf maxlanport="2" I changed it to 8 Reboot you now have all mac addresses showing Thanks goes to Pocopico and Peter Suh for helping me trying to get this sorted. Edit: Now I got my 10gb NIC working.

Waited for a good 30mins for an IP still nothing. is it possible to go the DS920+ route guys cheers

No mate, I get an ip within a minute without the 10g card, But waited about 5 mins when card is in, so I could try the 10 to 15 min wait and see what happens.

No serial console, disk activity yes I get noise from hdd as its trying to boot, if that's what you mean mate
