  4. ok Peter thanks again for trying to get this to work much appreciated. give me a shout if you need to test anything.
  5. I know it takes time mate and thanks goes to you and the guys working behind the scenes to get things going, but i will perceiver and test myself as well mate
  6. what i can do is disable the onboard lan and see if it picks up the 10gb nic
  7. so your saying that the 10gb nic will not function with 7.1
  8. yes its an intel 1gb internal nic for pc. the intel 10gb nic is an addon hence the reason for the 3 macs in the grub.cfg in 6.2.3
  9. i haven't tested when you gave the commands mate
  10. router does not give an ip when the 10gb nic is in mate, i have to take NIC out to get an ip.

  16. Yes mate, it worked ok in 6.2.3 before installing 7.1 Ttyd is just flashing on screen, using WinSCP but no junior_reason in var/log.
  17. Yes mate Intel 1gbe port, so that makes the 3 mac addresses added to the user_config.json before building.
  18. yes i did mate, was just checking, i did get to load with the 10gbe connected but when i rebooted it didn't come back. still working on it tho lol cheers bud
  19. @pocopico would adding 3 mac addresses in the user_config.json cause a problem mate, as i used to put the 3 macs in the grub.cfg in 6.2.3. cheers bud
  20. Thanks mate, yes its for transcoding and works well in 6.2.3, will give it a try mate cheers
  21. Hi, Trying to install 7.1 from 6.2.3 but i get no ip with my 10gbe card installed. is there drivers i can install when making tcrp build on usb stick, as this is the only way i can get an ip if i take the Intel X520-2 10gbe card out. Pocopico has been trying to help here https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/61547-no-ip-with-tcrp-046-img-loader cheers guys
  22. Still working on it, Nightmare When i pull the Intel X520-2 i can get an IP got apollolake-7.1.0-42661 up and running on baremetal. When i put the X520-2 back in i loose the connection altogether. when I set manually i get an IP address. I am at a lose as to why the 10gbe when in the machine i do not get an IP until i take it out. the 10gbe card works ok in the machine with V6.2.3 but refuses to work with 7.1.0 Cheers Pocopico for your help bud, thanks
  23. Managed to set it manually mate thanks, what next and how do i get the drivers for the Intel X520-2. sorry about holding my hand never done this, noob to linux. cheers mate
  24. Thanks Pocopico, DS918+ running 6.2.3 on baremetal my working machine. I have the original Serial and Mac Addresses from original DS918+. what i am trying to do is setup TCRP DS918+ v7.0.1-42218 on same PC with empty drives, with adding the same serial and mac addresses from the original DS918+ in the grub cfg. just like in 6.2.3. This is all i get with tinycore-redpill-uefi.v0.4.6.img as you can see there is no IP to do the setup proccess. Cheers
