WTF i cant edit my own post… Everything works.was just a slow Hdd.

I installed everything on my proxmox. Works good. Currently i'm using the develpment version. But i got one problem: I can't get my 10GBit working. The adapter is found but it is at 1 GBit. I used to change the network adapter in proxmox from virtio to vmxnet3 but nothing it only get 1000 MBit. i tried adding the ext manually but nothing changed. What to do for running the VM at 10GBit?

First off all: Thank you. Great to see a new loader for DSM 6 Second: I'm interessted at the HP Gen8 Fan-Problem too. It would be nice if the loader could fix this. I can say that many germans do dsm on a microserver gen8

ich habe ein ähnliches problem. ich möchte eine sicherung von einer usbplatte wiederherstellen. nach ein paar minuten (ca. 30) bricht die wiederherstellung aus unbekannten gründen einfach ab. ich werde die daten manuell drauf kopieren.

But the USB 3.0 Ports of my SuperMicro X10SLH-F don't work. I don't want to buy an extra Controller for USB 3.0 if i have some on my board.... Chipset is Intel C220

Is there a way of getting USB 3.0 working on with new dsm 5.1 ? Really good news. i'll donate for it.

I haven't seen any post of an working 5.1 install or upgrade.

Hallo Zusammen! Der Titel verrät bereits alles: Ich habe das Problem, das mein Gast (Nanoboot,XPEnology), bei einem "Herunterfahren"-Befehl aus dem Host, nicht herunterfährt. Wo könnte ich nachschauen, warum das nicht klappt? Das ist sehr hinderlich, da ich meine Gäste alle bei einem USV-Shutdown heruntergefahren haben möchte bevor der Host ausgeht. Weiss jemand Rat? Ich habe schon den Hinweis bekommen das ein aktiver acpi-daemon laufen muss. LEider weiss ich nicht was das ist und wie ich kontrollieren könnte ob der läuft oder wie man den nachinstalliert auf nanoboot. Ein andere USer in einem Forum meinte mir fehle bei meinem Proxmox-Gast so etwas wie open vmtools für esxi. Gibt es sowas auch Proxmox? Vielleicht kann mir einer von euch weiterhelfen.

Hallo Zusammen! Mein XPEnology läuft mittlerweile. Ich bin nach dieser super Anleitung vorgegangen. Meine Frage richtet sich an alle die auch nen Microserver haben oder sich damit auskennen. Ich betreibe jetzt alle Platten über den ahci - eine ssd und 3 wd reds. Die SSD ist als Datenspeicher eingebunden in esxi. Dort sind auch die verschiedenen VM drauf installiert. Die 3 reds habe ich per RDM "durchgereicht" an die Xpenology-VM. Es werden keine Temperaturen oder Smart durchgereicht. Sehe ich das richtig, das ich für das HP-Image vom esxi noch nen extra nen controller benötige, der kompatibel ist? Wie schaff ich es das die Platten "schlafen gehen"? Ausserdem möchte ich die ssd "verdoppeln" und in einen Raidverbund spiegeln lassen (falls mal eine abraucht). Von der SSD und den Datenplatten, die im SHR laufen, möchte ich gerne auch ein Backup erstellen, da weiss ich aber auch noch nicht wie ich das am sinnvollsten anstelle. Hier wäre mir am liebste in komplettes 1:1 Backup über USB oder so.
