  1. Just installed xpenology with dsm 6.1 (ds3615) with juns loader 1.02b on the PX6-300d (6 drive NAS). Pretty straight forward using this guide to boot from usb. GUIDE: Customer OS on PX6-300D 1) Had to plug the USB in the back usb port. 2) Entered the PID/VID/SN and mac1 and mac2 3) also required to enter: SataPortMap=6 After that it booted right up and installed DSM with the synology assistant. Working good so far with no issues and all 6 bays can be utilized.

  2. I have moved the connectx3 and loader + hdd to a microserver gen8 with a xeon processor so that we can have similar bus width, mlx4 is now running at full speed please see below screenshot

  3. Maybe you could try to upgrade like I did a few days ago. I was on DSM 7.1 installed with the same "manual" mode you used. After asking for help one helpful member helped me suggesting me to create a new USB with Arc, a bootloader that makes it easy to configure and build a new image. I followed the steps he mentioned and everything worked for me, maybe you can try. Regards

  5. Update to a latest version of the loader, clean the loader and build the loader again, better do it from scratch, after that just go to the new IP and do a recover system, the friend will update the bootloader and the system should boot normally, if it asks to install new dsm, latest loader is dsm7.2.0 update 1 so you will have to download and update your system after latest loader rebuild

  7. Do not proceed with the update within the DSM GUI Re-enter the TCRP loader build menu and rebuild the loader for 7.2-64570. You will be naturally connected to the installation request screen of the new DSM file.

  9. Pretty sure all these loaders have been written to support 16 drives. DVA1622 natively only has 2 drives, I’m currently running 10.
