This is what i did. If you are using 3617 download the other loader! And flash it to your USB. Download old .pat file from synology. Update manually, migrate data. never click upgrade! Now you need to setup everything from scratch but most likely all your data will be safe! Do it on your own risk.

Well, for me the 6.2 with Jun's loader was working fine until the 6.2.1-23824 update. I updated from the DSM interface and after reboot the LAN stopped working. (Blinked orange). Honestly, I have no idea what needs to be fixed, just trying to provide as many n00b information to help the competent ones to fix it

Just checked and my onboard NIC works fine too. It's an Asrock J3455-ITX board (the one with 4x Sata). Loader 1.03b 6.2 U2 is installed (I've not tried 6.2.1 yet).. Both boards (mine and the 2x Sata 'B' version) have the same onboard NIC, so it should work...

On esxi 6.5 looking good so far.

I have J4105 which presumably has the same ASMedia controller, and this is not the case. The four ports (Intelx2, ASMediax2) line up disk 1-4. Which image are you using?

Да, это с третьего поста стало понятно, и то что мы тут биссер метаем тош по ходу зря. Вангую, чел или уже закинул, или вот-вот закинет удочки на сино форумы, а в результате плюнет и скажет "шо то х..ня, шо то х...ня", уже не говоря о том что посты плюсовать за помощь тут вообще считается дурным тоном...

Ну что, заказал мамку ASRock J3455-ITX, одну плашку памяти на 4 гига AS04GFA60CAQBGC и плату расширения STLab A-480. Ну и дополнить это все еще одним жестким диском на 6 тб WD60EFRX (к уже имеющимся 5-ти винтам) Встанет это в замен Asus E35M1-I и 4 гиг памяти. Хрено на ней работает отлично, 4 гб хватает с головой (виртуалок не использую). Приедет комплектуха - пересоберу NAS. Будет фотоотчет. Пс: кто уже пользует такую мамку? Как проц потянет raid5? Jbod собирать стрёмно, а в синглах винты держать надоело...
