  7. Thanks for the response, The problem is I want to update the system. I make the usb stick with bootloader 1.02b I boot it and I get the boot loader screen it loads up and I have no network connection and the hard drive lights all go off and never come back on. So I guess the controller is not being detected also. I using the same serial and mac number on both loaders and the same usb stick also. That's the problem I have having... BTW: I'm using Loader Jun's-1.0.1 6.0.2.1-8451
  8. I did this and got it working with that Loader 1.01 now can Loader 1.02b please be updated with the same drivers so we can update our DSM to the latest please....Also I would like to migrate from ds3615 to ds3617 with a new fresh updated loader. Hope I'm not asking for too much. As always thank you very much for the hard work you guys have done!
  9. I'm running ESXI 6.5 on my R710 with no issues, the only warning I get is that this CPU might not get support for the next versions. I'm using loader Jun's 1.02b on DS3617, if you want to learn how to do it, do some reading, search bar is very helpful... Keep us updated...
  10. I have DS3617 running on EXSI 6.5 as a virtual machine, it works well. I want to install it on bare metal how do you setup the controller to work or pass thu ? So it can see my 8 2.5 1 TB hard drives ? Braodcom network card , can anyone make a boot loader that will work with this? Say they got it working with 5.2 and 6.0 I'm going to try and see what happens, I'm updating my R710 to the latest firmware and see what gives. Keep ya updated...
  11. Go to update & Restore on the top you will see RESET click on that and follow directions Hope this helps...
  12. Has anyone been able to use the Jun's 1.02b loader to run the R710 yet ? If so what are you using DS3615 or DS3617 please advise.
  13. Can you make one of these using the DS916 and DS3617 image for VMware please. Also how would you change the serial number or mac number on a VMWARE image, like the one you made above. I tried your ovf image and it worked great on my VMWARE server. I would like to change it so I can use the same image on another server, please advise thanks....Great work guys! I have tried using the ISO files posted and they don't boot in the VMWARE if used as a cd for installing...
