  1. - Outcome of the installation/update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: Bricked DS3617xs v1.03b & 6.2.1-23824 Update 1 - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.04b - DS918+ - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: Baremetal Celeron G4900; Asrock H310M-HDV 3.30, Crucial 4GB DDR4-2400; onboard NIC RTL8111H - Additional comments: DS3617xs bricked during upgrade to loader v1.03b & 6.2.1-23824 Update 1. Not discoverable on LAN anymore. Same issue with Intel PRO1000 EXPI9301CTBLK CT PCIex. Previous hardware (Bricked NAS): i3-550; Gigabyte GA-H55-UD3H rev 1.0; onboard NIC RTL8111D. Working well, able to saturate Gbit LAN.

    DSM 6.2 Loader

    When trying to mount Jun's Loader v1.03b DS3615xs with OSFMount, I'm not getting the popup where I can select partition 0. It does work with Jun's Loader v1.03b DS3617xs. Anything wrong with the 3615xs one?
  3. - Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3617xs - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: Baremetal Gigabyte GA-H55-UD3H rev 1.0; i3-550; Onboard NIC RTL8111D - Additional comments: upgraded from 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 (loader 1.02b) to 6.2-23739 (loader 1.03b), choosing migration. After reboot, had to change IP settings back to manual using Synology assistant; then upgraded from GUI to DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2. A few packages to update. No issues so far.

Baremetal Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-H55-UD3H rev 1.0 CPU : i3-550 (2x3.2Ghz) RAM : 4GB DDR3 Onboard NIC : RTL8111D HDDs: 2x 2TB SHR1 Jun’s loader: v1.02b DSM installed: DSM_DS3617xs_15217 DSM updated: 6.1.5-15254 Update 1 (now running) Comments · First tried with DS916+ loader/pat; NIC wasn’t recognized also not with extra.lzma. · DS3617xs worked out of the box without any modification. · CPU is reported as Intel Xeon D-1527 4 cores
  5. Hello there, My name is Michel, I'm based in Belgium and doing technical presales in the telecom/IT security world. Built my first XPEnology in VMWare, was quite straightforward I have to say. Also built my first baremetal rig, Intel i3 based. Works with no issues so far & still learning I'll provide details of this rig in another post. I did spend 40€ on this hardware
