  1. Ok, just rechecked it and the motherboard NIC is really Attansic L2 Fast Ethernet aka Atheros. And I pulled out the pendrive to see which extra.lzma I was using and it's yours. But I already tried using yours on 1.02b, and the result was the same... I guess I should compile my own drivers? Output: [ 4.193800] usbcore: registered new interface driver ethub [ 52.885279] jme: JMicron JMC2XX ethernet driver version 1.0.8 [ 53.052902] usbcore: registered new interface driver kaweth [ 58.944397] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready [ 58.944433] atl2: eth0 NIC Link is Up<100 Mbps Full Duplex> [ 58.944442] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready Looks like I'm using wrong driver?
  2. I guess I celebrated too early. Loader version 1.02b can't be located by Synology assistant. I did the same configuration as before. @edit Just checked my switch and it looks like that there's no network drivers for my NIC in 6.1 loader, there's no response from the server. I can connect freely through my 6.0.2 though. This motherboard (Asus P5LD2-X/1333) has a Atheros L2 Fast NIC. Any ideas?
  3. Well, it's better to ask instead of bricking the NAS. I use the default extra.lzma ramdisk. I saw you took yours offline. One issue I'm having is really slow transfer speeds from NAS to local computers (11mbp/s lol), but I guess it's the CAT cables. Thanks once again @Polanskiman
  4. Guys, in order to update my 6.0.2 u11 DSM (using loader 1.01) to DSM 6.1, do I just need to do this: Or there's anything else I should take care? This is from @Polanskiman. Thanks in advance.
  5. Turns out I was using the NIC wrong Mac Address. After I changed it to the right one, I was able to install and now the server is running fine. Thanks for your reply Polanskiman!
  6. Hi guys. I can't get mine recognized on Find Synology. My mb is Asus P5LD2-X/1333. It has an on-board Atheros L2 card. Should I get an add-in old-school NIC? I tried this with Polanskiman's extra ramdisk and the original one from Jun's. Thanks in advance!
  7. I can't find my computer on Synology Assistant (web or software). My motherboard is Asus P5LD2-X/1333. Do I need to get a network card in order to it work? First time attempting this installation.
