DS3622xs+ 7.1 with a H730 Raid card

Hello i am setting up my second xpenology NAS on a Dell T630 with a Perc H730 Raid card. I when through the setup of Tinycore but when i find the nas via its ip address it says it does not have any disks can someone help me get the correct drivers to inject into redpill to make the drives turn up?

Can you provide more information:

Is the H730 flashed to IT mode?

Can you post the output of your build?

The card has not been flashed to it mode but all the drive are in hda mode so are all single drive not in any kind of raid. On the off chance I gave the automatic redpoll creator a try it seems to at least see the disk just trying to install the dsm just now

Update I have tried to install dsm twice both times failed at 56% which normally indicates satamap is wrong

Have you disable VT and the onboard SATA ports? I have had to do that on my R620

No I have not done that. Vt I take is logical cores or old style hyper threading? I will need to look in the bios to disable the on-board sata port

Virtualization.. that sometimes hampers the installation. you can re-enable it once everything is setup if you will be using Virtual Machine Manager.

Looks like you did not disable the onboard SATA controller. Do you intend to use them?

I had issues building the loader until I disabled the onboard SATA on my R620.

I tried it with them disabled and enabled and I had the same issue but I decided to go back to unraid instead

What does "postprocess" do and when should it be run?

I had the same issue with a PERC H730P, what worked for me was creating a single RAID0 on each disk using the PERC, This allowed Redpill to work and see my disks.

I have an H730 Mini on an R730xd, running in HBA mode. I can see the drives in DSM but they are sequenced after 10 empty ports that seem to be on two onboard AHCI controllers. I would love to know how to disable the onboard SATA controllers, which I assume to be the AHCI controllers rather than the PERC H730. Thank you.
