I believe this is normal, but I cannot confirm. It must be something related to Proxmox/Linux itself
-
Not for now! There are already 7 different platforms and it's quite complex to maintain all that!

This board uses an intel network board? Into loader prompt, please type: 'lspci -nnk' and post the result
-
Please give more information. The data disks are mapped to SATA 1:0...3? Try put loader into SATA 0:0 and data disks starting at SATA1:0, go to loader, cmdline menu and add a cmdline name 'DiskIdxMap' with value '1B00'

No, I just took the lock off to let the user test and check if it really works. If the CPU does not support it, a kernel panic will occur.
-
Thanks for the report.

DS920+ is a Device-tree(DT) model, and DT models only work with SATA disks! This is a technical limit of the DSM kernel, unresolved so far.
-
Version 0.3a7 released. Added samba to get/put/edit files. Added option in the model menu to disable cpu flags restriction. https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl/releases/tag/v0.3-alpha7

Try put loader disk into SATA0:0 and use SataPortMap=1 The first disk will be 2, and it will not be possible to remove that first phantom disk, as using SataPortMap=0 causes kernel panic and non-SATA disks do not work with DiskIdxMap

If disappeared, try change CPU to host option
-
I will program to automatically add both misc and acpid addons
-
Problems with the modules!! I am investigating.
-
Configure CPU to 'host' option
-
Try add misc addon
-
You're sorry, but I don't know if I've already asked you because there were several messages. Is it possible to send me the serial log?
-
I made a little modification to work only with geminilake.
-
Ok, thanks, I'll disable FMA check
-
And do the 918/3221 models work on your board using other loaders?
-
I was able to run tests on VMware Player 16 and ESXi 6.7 and the modules worked, so I can't say what could be happening yet!
-
Earlier versions had the 'misc' addon built in. Now about the HDs I only noticed doing tests recently.
-
I was going to tell you to use the existing template from the arpl-modules repository, but I've already received your PR and message notifying your success.
-
These modules should load automatically, but I'm having kernel panic problems! Wouldn't you have a serial port to capture the logs?
-
During my tests with the ESXi 6U7 I had problems with the installation of the DSM, I had to change the HDs with "Thick Provision Eager Zeroed". About shutdown, enable "misc" addon.

Thanks, I'll add this check.
