I suggest backing up data and then following this guide http://cyanlabs.co.uk/news/how-to-insta ... gy-on-esxi and then my new guide in a few hours once i get nanoboot sorted, alternatively you could jump straight to nanoboot but the guide may be missing some needed steps this way. BACKUP, even if you may not lose data you should still BACKUP Also to update from gnoboot to nanoboot follow this guide - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3068 - note you could skip going to gnoboot but it may be confusing.

Creator of the tutorial here, Do you have any sort of non-standard devices plugged in? like a bluray drive etc? when my BD is connected it does that but if i disconnect it and reboot it works.

Fair enough, i only have 1 HDD currently though so no choice for this. NEW GUIDE COMING SOON, INSTALLING DSM 5.0 GNOBOOT > ESXi > HP N54L should be today/tommorow hopefully.

Almost same issue on my side, i get strange network use when transfering files, it comes from 100 Mo/s (COOL!) to 20, to 6, etc... (less cool); maybe it's a story about MTU that cannot been set? yeah mine starts at 100 then drops to around 6 then 0 and doesn't come back.

does any 1 know why im getting 0mb/s when transferring using SMB when via ESXI but when natively installed it works fine?
