Think there is no driver for that card. Running also vm with passthrough and this works good. But I use a lsi card.

My Control Panel -> General shows nothing (emty page). All other is working. Is that a normal behavior?

Thanks for feedback. My plan is to put all my drives from a running ds1815+ to the new vm 3615 before 1815+ dies (c2000 cpu problem). Do you see any problems? I have made a backup before if something going wrong.

Hi, running under vm 6.5 and try loader 1.02a for ds3617. After one day get that f++k page "Sorry, the page you are looking for is not found.". Now I will try loader for ds3615. Read some posts that that image don't have this kind of problem. Is there any other different between these 2 images. Is there a pro to use ds3617 if its working?

Heute hatte ich ein komisches verhalten. Auf einmal war keine Anmeldung über DSM mehr möglich mit der Fehlermeldung "Sorry, the page you are looking for is not found". Ich betreibe das NAS zum testen erst einmal mit nur einer Platte. Diese habe ich dann gezogen und noch mal neu gebootet. Danach war der Installationswizzard wieder da und ich konnte das System normal installieren. Hatte jemand so etwas schon einmal?

Was noch geht ist die 3617xs. Die habe ich für meine vm Umgebung gewählt. Solltest du jedoch nicht machen. Habe es gerade auf ds3615 gewechselt. Das ds3617 hat nach einem Tag ein Problem. Bekomme dann nur noch im Browser "Sorry, the page you are looking for is not found." angezeigt.

Hi, reading some posts and found that DSM need a change in the INFO file included inside SPK. Add arch="x86_64" in INFO file of my open-vm-tools_bromolow-6.0_10.0.7-1.spk That works now fine... Here for somebody that need this file: http://ul.to/n4r9zr4q

Hi, I test it again and get same error. I use DSM 6.1-15047 Update 1 and open-vm-tools_bromolow-5.1_9.10.0-2476743-1.spk. Error is: This package is not supported on the platform of DiskStation or is incompatible with the current DSM version. Looks like its Update 1.

Also ich kann es nur empfehlen. Klar hat Logitech das eingestampft, aber die Community ist groß. Habe selber 4 native Player laufen und den Rest entweder mit picoreplayer oder squeezelite gemacht. Bin voll zufrieden.

Habe mal 1.02a getestet. Läuft soweit ganz O.K. in meiner VMWARE. Was könnten denn für Probleme mit 1.02a auf mich zu kommen? Erst einmal läuft es ja....

HI, I also using DSM 6.1 and search the vm tools. IS there one available? I get same error "not supported on that platform".

Check it with my fresh install environment (ESXi 6.5) but it doesn't work. Get always Error [7] at the serial. It find an older version and try to recover. Recover runs for ever. Need to change disk and install a 6.0.2 over. That works fine.

After a long way my NAS is running with 6.0.2 Update 9. Including LSI passthru. Now I will make some test. Have anybody saw that synology have 6.1 out? Not over update but over synology web site. Try to install this but it fail. Running into error [7]. TTY shows always that there is an older version at HDD available und try to recover. No chance to bring it online.

Hi, I plan to install vmware 6.5 on my new T620. I will use the built-in H310 Perc with original Dell fw for ESXi on that server. But I also want to add an additional H310 into it and will configure passthru to the XPEnology with 8x6TB drives. The question is, can this be working? I search for an alternative for my DS 1815+ because it have the C2000 Atom bug and I am not sure when it fails. I also saw that everybody upgrade the H310 to IT firmware but I don't know which version (19 or 20) is the best for this configuration. Can somebody told me the best way to do this?
