    DSM 6.1.x Loader

just installed 3 days ago and all clean, applied u1 which was a fast install without reboot. so far so good
  2. Just search for docker on synology by Google pretty straight forward ------------------------- Send from mobile device
  3. Moved from esxi setup to baremetal just by using June's loader. Target system did recognise the disks and DSM was operational again. Setup without disk group just shr, no success guaranteed
  4. Wrong forum you should ask the developer of virtual box plugin Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Hi al, I have an issue with my HP ML350P GEN8 server which is quite a nice machine for virtualsation and usage as mass storage device based on its slot. I want t use the raid controller as passtruth so tht Xpenology can manager my disks in raw mode also providing smart status etc. I am using ESXI 6.5 and first enable HBA mode on the P420i controller (which means passtruth disk and disable raid), than i install june loader a vmware. Adding additonal CPU's + the PCI card ass passtrtuth device. Immediatly when i start my VM the CPU Fans go up to 100% and dont go done when i shutdown the VM. Only solution is to reboot the entire machine. Anyone else a clue or seen this problem ?
  11. Basically you can just use the standard instruction of synology. https://www.synology.com/nl-nl/knowledgebase/DSM/help/DSM/FileBrowser/mountremotevolume Change to en-en for English So 1) share folder on the qnap 2) mount to synology Keep in mind: 1) you must have a volume in DSM to mount this folder to 2) you can only mount, not use it as disk If you want to have a disk shared TI dsm isci link could be used but I think that's far away from way you want Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. CIFS Share Access? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If these 2 disk act as a raid you must create a volume on the mainboard raid controller and than the volume will be visible as drive in xpenology. Raid = create raid on MB use the volume in DSM AHCI = DSM control's all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It's to have an synology VM within synology I guess Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
