Same system - same issue - someone on here mentioned using Synology Assistant to install the image, instead of the web assistant - and it worked! Hope it works for you as well. Do you find a workaround for the bootloop bug? Everytime I want to shutdown my H340 it will start again.

Hey quicknick, In dmesg log of my Acer H340 I found the following: ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, While evaluating Sleep State [\_S4_] (20130328/hwxface-568) I think this in connection with the problem that I'm not able to shutdown my NAS. Everytime I try to shutdown the NAS it reboots afer aprox 5sec. The last version of XPenelogy without my reboot problem is 5.1-5055 Any idea?? -

Sadly it is hard to help if you don't provide ample information or pictures. Is this a VM or Baremetal and is HW NIC and / or Storage supported? Try to find your IP in dhcp leases. If you cannot find, then you won't be able to connect via ssh or telnet, nor install Sorry quicknick. I'm running DSM in a VM Envirnment and booting the system via USB. The "normal" boot via the first entry runs without problems. (I've edit the grub.cfg) But when I want to have a look into your configuration menu I only see "Booting the kernel" like any other entry. -

Do you know what usb serial chip it is using? Because my v2 ramdisk/boot image contains drivers (kernel modules) for ftdi_sio, cp210x, ch341 and pl2303. I have tested usb serial adapters with FTDI an cp210x and both works OK. If yours is missing I can add it. Hi Arca can add acpi related driver from the XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.1-5055.1 boot image. This is the last version my Acer H340 shutdown normally with. With all newer bootloader incl. your 6.0.2 version I'm not able to shutdown and my Acer restarts automatically. thanks for your help

Do you have an idea why I'm not able to shutdown my Acer H340. Everytime I've tried it do a reboot. With 5.1 DSM everything is working fine.

Hallo Sam123, nach deiner Signaturzeile hast du XPEnology 5.2 lauffähig auf deinem H340. hast du auch das Problem, dass du die Kiste nicht runterfahren sondern nur neustarten kannst oder hast du einen Fix für das Problem? Meine letzte funktionsfähige Konfiguration lief unter 5.1. Mit den neuen Loadern bekomme ich auch die Version 6.0.2 auf den H340 aber mit dem Neustartproblem macht das leider keinen Sinn. Danke im Voraus

Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch. DSM 5.1 war das letzte was ich ohne diesen nervigen Bug verwenden kann. Alle neueren Versionen führen zu einem ständigen Neustart. Beim H341 geht es dagegen problemlos. Ich denke es liegt irgendwie am BIOS aber ein Update wird seitens Acer für die alte Kiste auch nicht mehr bereitgestellt.

what information?! the only thing I see are people using here are the vmware images. I have an acer easystore h340 im trying to get 6.0 running on bare metal and pulling my hair out. For me it is working with version 6.0.2 with the H340 but everytime I want to shut it down the H340 is rebooting. The last version without this bug is version 5.1. Do you know this issue or have a workaround?

Hey Guys, thanks for all your work. Now to my problem. I'm using an Acer H340 with the hybridbiosuefi2.img image. Everything is working properly on 6.0.2. but I have a reboot loop. On every shutdown the baremetal reboots. It's the same with the junuefibios.img or synoboot.img. I replaced SN / MAC / VID /PID and the ramdisk. Any idea? thanks for your help

Hi Guys, i managed to get it working in a Parallels VM but for me it's not possible to install a DSM package like Plex manually. Do you habe a solution for that?
