N54L. I successfully migrated from trantor`s DSM 4.3-3827 directly to gnoBoot and DSM 5.0-4458. As I have no monitor I used default menu editing trick from viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2152&p=10720&hilit=menu.lst#p10720 Temporary set default 1 and than after migration revert it back.

А кто нибудь пробовал сразу с 4.3 trantor на 5.0 gnoboot проапргейдится?

Did anybody successfully migrated from DSM 4.3-3827 directly to gnoBoot and DSM 5.0-4458? Do one really need to upgrade to trantor`s DSM 5.0 first?

А я по этой ссылке ничего не вижу Точнее вижу только оглавление. Что я делаю не так?

After migrating to 4.3 and updating to update 3 I've managed to restore all configuration settings (users, applications folders, etc) from regular synology backup.

Me too and i like xpenology. I havn't even tried to update xpenology. I thought that it will be be fully updated from 4.2 to 4.3. Could you explain how to install just patches?

Do you mean patches for packages or patches for OS itself?

А какие требования к серийнику со стороны synology? Хочется зарегестриоваться у них со своим серийнкиом, но не хочется чтобы отшили или налететь на неприятности.

А можно родной MAC посмотреть из ОС (не BIOS)? Нет у меня сейчас свободного монитора , а поменять MAC адрес на родной хочется.
