Big Update: I tried again with the i3 and the oldest bios and the ARC loader with the DS3622XS+ loader. And it worked! Booted right up! Then I tried 2 newer bios versions. Both bios versions got me back to the "no drives found" error. There is something changed with the newer bios releases I guess... Soooo I will just sell the i7 13700k and get the i7 12700k that should work fine with the old bios.

Synology natively supports USB network cards. For example, here are the package sources for 2.5GbE Realtek: https://github.com/bb-qq/r8152 If necessary, the configuration of the loader could be done on another system/laptop.

Just tested in 7.2 update 3 and It is working the license patch. As you can see, the AME looks like licensed well: The other codecs, like DTS, AAC, EAC3, TRUEHD will be unlocked when you use or have installed the Advanced Wrapper or the Simplest one if you have a tiny NAS. Best regards.

I used AlexPresso's wrapper in the mean time and it seemed to work just fine for both Video Station and Media Server. As soon as I applied the patches streaming worked like intended just like you are showing with yours. I will try yours with a new install soon and will post again with feedback. This installer is a Wrapper for enable codec don't supported like DTS, EAC3, TrueHD, etc. Into its installer, you will see a patch for the license in AME, Option P and then select P again for install the patch (remember this doesn't install the wrapper and It isn't the wrapper itself and It's not mandatory to have this crack in order to use my wrapper). The code for the crack is an adaptation and addons by me from the code of @wangsiji and I converted this code to bash code by me. But you can uninstall this crack without problems, the .py from wangsiji can't do it. My respect to him, It isn't a criticism. Regards.

Не уверен что Ваша комбинация вообще взлетит т.к. сомневаюсь, что VMM умеет корректно пробрасывать iGPU в виртуалку чтобы работало распознавание. Для DVA1622 нужна встройка от интел уровня HD500 и выше, возможно будет работать на процах Haswell (встройка HD 4400/HD4600). Важно! На слишком "свежем" железе могут быть проблемы с отсутствием драйверов. Если я не ошибаюсь то под задачу распознавания лиц без видеокарты доступно всего 2 варианта: 1. На подходящее железо ставится DVA1622 с DSM 7 и при необходимости на VMM ставится еще одна/несколько DVA1622 для получения дополнительных лицензий. 2. На подходящее железо ставиться софт для виртуализации (ESXi, Proxmox, ...) умеющий корректно пробрасывать реальное "железо" (для нас важна видеокарта) и при его помощи поднимается DVA1622 с DSM 7 с пробросом в нее iGPU. Поправьте меня если я ошибаюсь

Update: I have figured out the problem and solution for this. It has nothing to do with DSM version, I created a DSM7.0 for testing and there USB discs were also as internal. My running Tinycore Redpill 0.4 DSM7.0 NAS does see USB external correctly. When using ARPL is used and you don't manually set the max sata drives, using USB discs will result in seeing them as internal drives! So, setting the max sata drives in the ARPL configuration, fixes this issue. For instance not correct: - Set manually 5 sata drives in ARPL (ARPL disc and 2 NAS sata discs) - Connecting 2 USB discs to the VM, will result in them being seen as internal (Internal drives 21 and 22 according to DSM) Correct setup: - Set manually 3 sata drives in ARPL (ARPL disc and 2 NAS sata discs) - Connectin 2 USB discs to the VM, will be seen as external drive like normal!
