Здравствуйте, вот тоже решил заняться новым для себя делом. В гараже откопал MSI g31P35 вместе с core 2 duo 2,8, 4 GB оперативки и 3 диска по Тб в 5 рейде. Накатил DS3617xs, DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 3. Все что надо работает, всё устраивает, Пока разбираюсь с драйвом, но основная проблема с видео в моментс. Что только не пробовал, разными способами заливал, пытался сам перекодировать под формат который сейчас воспроизводится. Толку ноль, некоторые видео играют, большинство нет! В журналах вот такое сообщение: System failed to convert video [/volume1/photo/Moments/Общие/2019-05-09/DSCN6416.MOV] to mpeg4. По сообщениям выше понятно, что без номера ДСМ ничего не получится. Я правильно понял? Подскажите где его взять? Всё перерыл! И ещё, когда включал переиндексацию, через некоторое время разваливается рейд, отключаются два диска. Перезагрузка не помогает, только выключение на мин.20. После включения всё обратно собирается и работает отлично. Но всё-же как победить видео и где взять номерок, хотя-бы на время.

If you have only one volume enter this command: cd /volume1 (RETURN) Type again: ls -l (RETURN) Shared folders are marked in GREEN color while Synology's system folder are shown in blueish with an @ at the beginning. Do you see any of these "green" folders?

Uh using hardware raid controllers is usually not a good idea, especially the P4xx series. Can you see any content on your volume when using the ssh console?

But PT card works fine with ESXi. ESXi directly supports LSI. For best results, use passthrough mode, or if DSM 6.2.x has problems with it, translate the LSI attached drives to your VM via physical RDM. DSM max CPU cores is 8c/16t due to Linux kernel limitation.
