XPEH Posted June 15, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 15, 2013 You can reset it to factory default via control panel.
pameijer Posted July 31, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2013 You can reset it to factory default via control panel. But when you use DSM to do a complete format and reinstall, the executing DSM-files will not be deleted, because which files will be performing the format? I am also looking for a completely fresh system, I have been busy ruining mine via the console. In what way can I completely reformat the disks, including the DSM-install, and start all over again. I want to be sure ALL files from DSM are wiped from my disks.
XPEH Posted July 31, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2013 Boot from any Linux live CD/USB and delete all the partitions on all the hard drives. Boot from USB SynoBoot and install everything afresh.
