  1. I can confirm: Switching to ACPI 1.0 AND disabling onboard NIC does the trick! Thank your very much!
  2. I´ve put the Intel NIC (X4) into the X16 slot (so no hardware mod needed). I´m also using the the customized bios to get the 6 SATA ports. I got it from here: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP-Proliant-Microserver-AMI-BIOS-MOD. I Think i use the 2011 version. To my knowledge there are only 2 Bios Versions: 29/07/2011 and 01/10/13 originaly released by HP and then used for modding (simply activating all settings, no other modifications on code!). Is this constellation the same for both of you? Maybe the old bios version is the cuprit?
  3. But pls notice: You will be able to install DSM 6.2.1 with your new Intel NC. But your N54L won´t shutdown or restart anymore. Instead u have to use the hardware button.
  4. - Outcome of the installation/update: SUCCESSFUL - DSM version prior update: DSM 6.2.1-23739 Update 2 - Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3615xs - Using custom extra.lzma: NO - Installation type: BAREMETAL - HP G7 N54L / internal NIC disable / add NIC HP NC360t Intel pro PCI Express Dual Port Gigabit Server Adapter onto PCIE x4 slot (no hw mod needed) - Additional comments: Reboot / Shutdown does not work normally: The DSM operation systems shutdown correctly but the HP N54L does not go to standby, green led still on and fan spinning. No Reboot or WOL possible.
  5. So does your N54L shut down properly with newest dsm 6.2.1?
  6. Hello, i´ve got the same problem using a N54L. Any way to revert back to DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 without setting it all up again/loosing data? Thanks!
