(But I obviously missed the part where the P222 runs this hot and induce that much noise 😭) Well since the heat and noise has been rejected by the person I'm living with, I'm trying another combination: I saw my LSI 9240-8i (apparently flashed on IT mode but without SAS address) was only supported until ESXI 6.7 (https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/detail.php?deviceCategory=io&productid=35108), so I reinstalled the 6.7 then successfully the TCRP Xpenology 🥳 I could have immediately my raw disks added to the Xpenology VM and manage my RAID into DSM. Don't know if I have to do something with the drivers or consider TCRP had all of them correctly installed? I ddidn't succeed to have my hard drives hibernate for now, I assume I missed something 😅

Hey, just wanted to say thank you @fbelavenuto. I upgraded / migrated my HP Microserver Gen8 from DSM 6.2 ds3615 / Jun 1.03b to ds3622xs+ DSM 7.1 / ARPL Beta-0.1 with no problems at all. The only manual intervention in the Loader configuration was to add a 2nd Mac address in the config file and change netif_num to "2". Booted up, migrated with DSM_DS3622xs+_42661.pat (with Update 1 included), and had to repair a couple of packages. Magic!

I have a baremetal HP micro server N54 with the 6.2.3-25426 Update 3 on production, I don't have the possibility to test on alternative server. So the steps I have to follow are: Burn image on a USB Boot the server with the USB Create the loader with the GUI on the 3er partition (it is semi automatic? Drivers, copy to part 1 and 2, etc?) Reboot again from the same USB to boot from the bootloader Update DSM as previous loaders Magic? Or it's too early to install on a Baremetal production server?
