Hello, I am new to Xpenology world. I am trying to install DSM7.2 on my old pc with the following specs.

CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor   3.20 GHz

MB: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H

RAM: 8GB

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

Network Adapter: Realtec 1gb Built in

HDD: 2 samsung 1 TB 2.5mm ssd's and 1 Seagate 12 TB

I have installed the arc loader ver 23.10.2c but when I boot into DSM for the second step, I can not find the synology on my LAN. Please help. Thanks.

PS: I can install DSM 7.1 and it works fine.

Have a look at this thread where is is stated that some users found success by switching to direct boot:

Its for says its on newer hardware, but it may also work for you.

As a last resort, you may want to try building a DS3622xs+, that works with most hardware.

Thank you guys for your help.

I tried installing 7.2 using 3622xs+ with m-shell. The loader build went successfully however I could not find synology on the local network. Tried about half an hour with no luck.

I have tried all boot loaders building 7.2 with ds3622xs+, DS2522 and other platforms.

Tried Direct boot into dsm option.

Also tried updating from 7.1 to 7.2.

Nothing has worked so far. I guess my hardware is not compatible with dsm 7.2.20231110_142512.thumb.jpg.6c4b76f85d07de7a9e7395c5eabbedb7.jpg
