Disabling C1E did the trick. I was up and running dsm 7.2 in less than 10 minutes. Thanks for your help.

Would you please let me know the steps you took to run dsm 7.2 on your pc?

I am on 7.1 and DS2422+ and it runs ok.

Thank you guys for your help. I tried installing 7.2 using 3622xs+ with m-shell. The loader build went successfully however I could not find synology on the local network. Tried about half an hour with no luck. I have tried all boot loaders building 7.2 with ds3622xs+, DS2522 and other platforms. Tried Direct boot into dsm option. Also tried updating from 7.1 to 7.2. Nothing has worked so far. I guess my hardware is not compatible with dsm 7.2.

Thanks for all your help. I tried both DS2422+ and DS3622xs+ with arpl-i18n v23.8.7 but got the following error with DSM 7.2. arpl-i18n v23.8.7 and DSM 7.1 with DS2422+ worked ok.

I tried upgrading the NAS from 7.1 to 7.2 from inside the GUI. Upgrade seemed to go through fine and the screen started the 10 minutes count down and it did not reboot into the DSM after that. I can not find it on the local network anymore.

Thanks Fenix46. I tried with Direct DSM Boot = true but still no luck finding it using local ip address or synology web assistant.

Hello, I am new to Xpenology world. I am trying to install DSM7.2 on my old pc with the following specs. CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor 3.20 GHz MB: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H RAM: 8GB Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Network Adapter: Realtec 1gb Built in HDD: 2 samsung 1 TB 2.5mm ssd's and 1 Seagate 12 TB I have installed the arc loader ver 23.10.2c but when I boot into DSM for the second step, I can not find the synology on my LAN. Please help. Thanks. PS: I can install DSM 7.1 and it works fine.
