arunmcops Posted September 5, 2022 #1 Posted September 5, 2022 System Info: Intel G41 Board Intel Q9400 CPU 8GB RAM 2X 2 TB WD HDDs I installed DS3622xs+ . It went fine and installed correctly. Made a Plex server, uploaded the media. It was working good. Then I had to shift the house. During shifting, USB Pen Drive got lost. Now I again tried to install same system, but I am getting countinuous error about pat file being corrupt. Tried 3 different pen drives. No luck. System is headless. Do I need to connect monitor and select SATA during boot ? Do I need to format HDDs ? Please help me out. Quote
Peter Suh Posted September 5, 2022 #2 Posted September 5, 2022 Did you buy a new USB stick after losing it? When the USB stick is changed, the VID / PID should be carefully checked. If the VID / PID is written incorrectly on the USB stick, you may encounter a PAT file corruption message. Quote
arunmcops Posted September 5, 2022 Author #3 Posted September 5, 2022 Tried thrice with 3 different USB Sticks. Always verified VID / PID of each usb stick, still same error. Quote
sbv3000 Posted September 5, 2022 #4 Posted September 5, 2022 when you run the tcrp build, check for the comment 'updating user_config.json', then use the editor to check the vid/pid values are correct. when the server up visible on your network, open the terminal and check the command line and the vid/pid settings.
