On initial boot after making the usb boot drive I get the following message. Any advice greatly apprecitaed error :terminal 'serial' isn't found. jensmander 155 Posted January 9 Share Posted January 9 Did you modify this entry in the grub.cfg, maybe an unwanted line break or typo? Did you compare the appropiate line with the original grub.cfg? Any difference? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I looked and looked and didn't see a problem with a typo so I started from scratch and re-did the grub and that fixed my problem so obviously there was a problem in the grub. Your much appreciated.
