It's basically deprecated, since it was the tool du jour for DSM 6, and the circus hoops process to create JUN's loader. All of the newer DSM 7.x loader methodologies are much more straightforward, easy-peezy,(mostly) wham-bam-done type of thing. I might have a copy of it somewhere if you really need it. Yes, I am trying to install DSM 6.1 (DS3617xs_DSM6.1_JunsMod_V1.02b_MBR_Genesys.img) on an old ACER Aspire EasyStore H340 (https://www.webdatenblatt.de/cds/de/?pid=fa6b7ba82705373) on which Windows Home Server used to run and which I would now like to run with the Synology DSM. Your unit is using the Intel Atom® Processor 230 (Diamondville), released in 2008 and was the 1st Generation of Atom and does support x86/x64. Ultimately, not to be Mr. Downer, it probably would be a better use of your time/effort, to find a newer, 2013 or better Intel system, that you can stuff several drives into and take the plunge with DSM 7.x instead. There are if I am not mistaken, several packages that are now also not supporting updates for DSM 6.x which might be limiting, depending on your use case. Here is the software tool you were looking for, I still had it buried in some archived folders on my NAS. Once you unzip it, you have all of the separate software tools that the XPENology Tool would download for you. I am sure several of them have been updated since that tool was created. ATOM CPUs, even though they are 1st generation Intel, are excellent models that support the movbe ("Move Data After Swapping Bytes") instruction internally. https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Atom/Intel-Atom 230 AU80586RE025D.html If this command is supported, most models of REDPILL can be installed without restrictions.
